Indulge in a day filled with adventure, history, culture, and Italian vino in a cozy group arrangement! You will tour one of the world’s most renowned archaeological sites, under the guidance of an expert archaeologist. Afterward, you will be hosted on a terrace nestled within Vesuvius vineyards, where you can enjoy local cuisines accompanied by Vesuvian wines. The journey continues with a guided horseback tour of the Vesuvius National Park, located (500 meters above sea level) right in the heart of the volcano that ended the Roman empire.

We loved this experience! - Our guide for the Pompeii ruins was knowledgeable and thoughtful as she tried to keep us in the shade as much as possible. Our van drivers were fun and informative. The vineyard and restaurant were beautiful and the food and wine was exceptional. Our horseback ride was also quite fun. We loved this experience!

Great day in Naples/Pompeii - Taste the Experience delivered a fantastic day! First was a guided tour of the Pompeii ruins, then a delicious lunch with local wines at a nearby vineyard, followed by horseback riding at a local stable. I was a little nervous about accomplishing all the activities in one day but it was well paced and Dino transported us expertly from one location to the next.
We spent about 2 hours at Pompeii, while guide Rosalina shared many facts that were new to me about the ruins. The lunch was an antipasto, then pasta with red sauce, and a dessert; we tasted 5 wines and had time to enjoy them all in a shaded patio surrounded by vineyards. Next, at the riding center, Alexandria and her team assembled 7 horses for our group, and she matched each rider and their experience level to a well-suited horse. We rode on a trail amongst a nearby vineyard and got to enjoy the scenery at a walk.
Throughout the booking process, Sophia was very helpful in making sure we knew where to meet. Highly recommend!

Perfecto! - What an incredible tour! Our guide, Vivian, was so incredibly knowledgeable. We learned so much from her and she was so amazing that a few people even tried to sneak in and listen to her tour! going without a guide would have been deleterious for sure. We can’t have known on our own most of the things we were looking at. Next was an incredible lunch at the winery. The food was superb and the wine was fantastic! Not to mention the view. Finally, we had the horseback ride through the winery. Unfortunately, it was an incredible heat wave while we were there and very hazy. So we could not enjoy the view of the sea or Mount Vesuvius. However, the winery is gorgeous and we still thoroughly enjoyed our ride despite the heat and the haze.

Amazing time in Pompeii and Vesuvius! - The tour of Pompeii with Sonia was outstanding! She was very knowledgeable and made it easy to understand! We would’ve been lost without her!
The wine tasting was delicious
The horseback riding with Alessandra was so fun! The horses are great and you walk thru beautiful vineyards with great views!

Great experience with fantastic guides - Every part of this excursion was fantastic. Sonia was a very thorough and knowledgeable guide through the site of Pompeii. She helped us not only understand the ruins, but helped to avoid crowds and get the most out of our time there.
Lorenzo, our driver, was super friendly, had an absolutely fantastic personality and was also knowledgeable about the area as he drove us to our destinations.
Lastly, our guide for the horseback riding, Alex was also amazing. She was extremely helpful and patient as we learned to ride (not experienced riders at all), knew a lot about the area and explained the wine making process very well. I would highly recommend this experience and give these three guides a 10/10 review.

Where do we begin - Teresa, Guiseppe and Lorenzo made every moment of this adventure even more spectacular. The weather was perfect, the ruins were amazing and the food delicious. This has been our favorite part of our Italian adventure so far and would do it again!

Great day in Pompeii - Pompeii was fascinating and very educational. Our guide was very knowledgeable but not as personable as many I've had in the past.
The winery was beautiful and lunch was tasty and plentiful. The wines weren't to our taste but we did buy some oil and a vinegar mixture which we really liked.
The horseback riding was for me, the highlight of the tour. Beautiful to ride amongst the vines at our guide was extremely friendly. Difficult to hear her at times as she described the lands we were riding through and they would do well to Ed some sort of earpiece transmission system like they used in Pompeii to get the full benefits..
Overall it was a great day and only a few minor detractions kept this from being a five-star.
