Alex is an absolute gem! - Alex exceeded all of our expectations. He was super engaging and accomodating to our daughter who was still suffering from jet lag and the summer heat and humidity (as well as her ADHD). He took our suggestions on how to interact with her and seamlessly integrated it into his storytelling, facts and tour pace. Plus he was still really fun and informative to the adults too. We came away having learned a ton. He is such a knowledgeable and personable guide, I could not recommend him any higher. Would do another tour with him any day!

Unforgettable experience for my young teens and us! - From the moment of booking the whole experience with Alex tours it could not have been better! I had previously read reviews and knew I had to book Alex for our trip. He does get booked up so I did this a few months in our advance back in the UK. Fantastic I could book directly too and the website was easy to use with full instructions prior to visiting. I was keen to get a guide as I have two 13 year olds and my priority was making sure they were engaged. We were visiting in August so knew it would be hot and busy and if they were entertained and not waiting in queues we'd be able to enjoy it much more. Alex was incredible. We had his number and he text the morning of the visit to check what time we'd be arriving and ensure we knew where to meet. As our train was early he met us early and found a quiet spot to introduce himself to the boys. We then went straight in with our beat the queue tickets. Alex was so informative but made it all about entertaining the boys. He knew how to keep them interested. He knew exactly where to go at the best time and found shady spots as it was very hot. We got to know all about him and all agree at the end it was like meeting a new family member. It was perfect for our boys and great fun. The boys have said it was the highlight of the holiday and have already told grandparents all about Pompeii. Thank you Alex. We will be back to see you and promise to bring the Curly Wurlys and Oxtail soup!

Alex is the perfect tour guide of Pompeii for a family! - Alex gave an absolutely fantastic tour in English to our family of four! In addition to being incredibly knowledgeable about Pompeii and Roman history in general, he is also great with kids. He directed the tour at our children but also made it entertaining and informative for adults. My husband said he learned so much that he feels like he could give a tour now, but he thinks he’ll leave it to the experts like Alex. ;) Alex also gave our kids a nice, high quality book about Pompeii, and my daughter read it all on our way back to the hotel. Doing this tour with Alex really made us feel like we could understand this ancient city in a way we never could have otherwise. We have only the highest praise for Alex and his company!

Fantastic Tours! - A five star service for our family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids ages 8, 10 and 14.
Alex and his team are very friendly and approachable, answering any queries and questions we had in organising our tours, and tips for making the most of our time in the bay of Naples.
His team are excellent, including the two Chiaras who help us in the organisation and logistics needed for our 3 tours.
You can see they are all very passionate about their jobs.
The infectious enthusiasm of Alex and Chiara brought the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum to life for our kids and us alike.
The tours really were fantastic, engaging and the time flew by, with our kids attention not lost at any point-not an easy task!
We also did a tour of Naples with Caterina which was excellent, seeing everything we wanted and getting a taste of the bustling city.
Correspondance was very quick, with emails and WhatsApp messages rapidly responded to, making communication so easy.
If you’re looking for fun and memorable tours in the bay of Naples this is the company for you.
My family and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Grazie mille Alex and team!

A highlight for our sons! - Alex came highly recommended in a Facebook travel group I used to plan our trip to Italy, and now I can see why. He kept our two sons engaged the entire two hours and my husband and I also learned so much during the tour. I had booked the tour thinking it would be good for the kids, but it turned out to be a favorite of the adults too.
Alex helped navigate Pompeii, which was much larger than I had expected. He was able to select the right highlights to show us to give us an overview of the ancient city.
My 14 year old son said it was his favorite part of our whole trip and it’s not easy to impress a teenage boy! My 7 year old son was fully engaged and really liked talking to Alex. So glad we chose to do this tour and we would use Alex again if we’re back in the area!

Magical - The visit was simply magical for both children and adults.
Alex's narrations transport you to a distant time, making you spend 2 hours living in one breath like a wonderful film... being part of the history of more than 2000 years ago in a passionate and engaging way.
Not only the visit but Alex's passion and professionalism will remain in our hearts, it will remain in the hearts of Giosuè (10) and Nicolò (8).
When we decide to see Herculaneum too we will have no doubts about which guide to contact!
Thanks Alex!

Alex is the BEST! - Don't go to Pompeii UNLESS you have booked a tour with Alex!
He is the best tour guide we have EVER had.
His knowledge and personal interactions would be difficult to beat.
Our group of 5 included a 7 year old, and Alex was able to effectively engage all of us and get us to every interesting site in an efficient and timely fashion.
Alex made Pompeii come alive and we certainly would not have appreciated the visit without his guidance. Indeed, this tour was the highlight of our trip to Italy.

Wonderful tour of Pompeii with Alex - Alex was a terrific guide. Extremely knowledgeable and able to inform us in an understandable and insightful way. We were able to see key parts of the area with no worries about finding our way around. His interaction with our 7 yr old granddaughter made for an excellent experience.
