Great day in Pompeii - Our guide Italio , was so informative with information I felt like had just taken a 6 month class on Pompeii by the end of it. No waiting in lines. No worries. I would definitely recommend a small private tour over a large group. Well worth the coin spent. His informative facts allowed me to imagine being in Pompeii during that time. I know that if I had toured by myself that it would not even been half of the experience.

Bucket list! - My dream to see Pompeii was realised and made even more wonderful by the charming Loretta! Both knowledgeable and entertaining, she wanted to show us as much as possible without rushing. It was simply perfect!

Pompeii was spectacular - It was a little confusing when we got there as there were many groups huddled in the same area but once we connected with Antonio, we were fine. He was perfect for our group, very knowledgeable, paced our stay well and had an artists perspective. Pompeii is amazing but in retrospect, given the heat and expanse, I would opt for a half day tour.

Loved our tour - Had a fantastic tour of Pompeii. Tour guide was one of the best we have had during our visit to Italy. Not only focused on the history of Pompeii but also pointed out things that made Pompeii unique from other historical sites. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Pompeii.

This tour was fantastic!! Our tour... - <p>This tour was fantastic!! Our tour guide, Veronica, was the best guide that we have ever had. She made the time fly by and involved our kids in the entire discussion. I would definitely recommend the five hour tour since I don’t think two hours would be enough time. Great experience!!</p>

Wow we walked, listened and talked... - <p>Wow we walked, listened and talked for an amazing five hours with Giada, our knowledgeable and energetic tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Our private tours were the stand out experiences of our trip - and this was no exception. We were tired in the best possible way and profoundly impressed by Pompeii and our guide. We entered Pompeii with a decent knowledge of the site but without out guide providing context and direction.. literally.. we would not have enjoyed or valued our experience anywhere near the level we did.</p>

A tour of a lifetime with my guide Italo! - There was a mix-up with my tour and I had no tour guide to meet me. Luckily Italo, another guide from Raphael Tours, warmly welcomed me into the private tour he was leading and continued with me when their 2 hour tour was finished. Italo was everything I could have asked for in a guide - considerate, incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, able answer all of my in-depth questions and provide insightful information into the ruins and the history. Despite the rough beginnings - which is the reason I removed one start - the tour turned out to be everything I wanted it to be. Bravo and Grazie Mille, Italo! A tour of a lifetime.
