Pompeii Highlights - The guides were outstanding and made a good resume of the highlights of Pompeii. But maybe they could have skipped the camafeu store, since it was a waste of time. I would rather spend that time in Pompeii, considering there was a lot to see in the given time.

Great experience - Great experience from Rome. The coach is comfortable and Samuel was attentive and very friendly. We had taken the tour without guide what we recommend. We were able to stay about 4 hours on site. Attention the entrance ticket provided does not give access to the area of the villa of mysteries. We paid an extra 8€ on site to be able to access it. I recommend this experience!!!

Priceless! - Of those memories that you take forever with you, and not only because of the place and the history, but because of the people who tell it. We were lucky enough to make this excursion with Marcelo and Sasha. Everything they know was brilliant and they passed on to us. Their warmth made it even difficult to say goodbye to them. Two experts with great wisdom, and eager to share it. Pompeii ceased to be a place perhaps where one goes with a certain “morbidity”, and becomes a REAL place, with people who had their lives, their loves, their customs. It totally changes the perspective with which one will see this city. You come back with more respect for them, for those who lost their lives. Thanks again Marcelo (see you at the Cape) and Sasha! We will always remember you and Pompeii.

Pompeii at own time - We were on a Pompeii free & easy tour with no guides arranged. But our bus guide from Rome, Gabriele was great - gave us good information on where to get lunch and where to find audio guides just outside the Pompeii ruins. Kudos to Driver Franco, who got us to and fro on time and safely.

Day trip from Rome to Pompeii - A good value tour and Marcello was very patient with late customers at both ends of the trip. Only 4 stars as we had to pay an extra €8 each for House of The Mysteries - surely the highlight of any visit. I suggest you put this in “What’s Not Included”

Tour Of Pompeii Ruins From Rome Return - Great way to see the ruins. Our tour leader Mikayla was lovely and very helpful, ensuring we were well looked after. We opted to tour the ruins ourselves, taking the return bus tour from Rome, but I think we may have got more out of the experience if we had opted for the guided tour as the ruins were so vast and we would have had more context to what we were seeing, but still a great experience. Would recommend this company.

Bus itinerary. Review I wish I could've read. - Bring long usb charging cords, there are ports available. Our particular bus even had wifi. I wish I had brought a sweater for the bus ride there. You can't eat on the bus. They have water for sale for 1 €. 0730 left Stopped at restrooms /Cafe from 0900-0930 Driving thru city of Naples. Guide spoke entire time driving on history of Naples. 1120 Stopped by naples coast line to take photos for 5 min. 1210 Dropped off everyone exploring on their own at with our tickets. (Other group of tourist stayed on to go to an hour pizza lunch, stop at a shell/jewelry factory, then Pompeii with a guided tour after) You can leave items you don't want to take with you into the ruins on the bus. We were able to explore for almost 4 hours if doing it on your own. Rent audio guides at Pompeii for 10 € each. Lots of missing audio. But it has a great map GPS feature that you need. Google maps Will not work inside. And you need to leave an ID as collateral. Get a map! Before you enter, it looks like a security guard desk, next to official gift shop. A few restaurants/fast-food vendors at entrance. Water fountains around inside ruins available to refill water bottles. Bargain with vendors outside ruin entrance. I purchased a Pompeii reconstructed book (20 €) outside at vendors and wish I had it before I went inside. 1600 Met tour guide 1630 left Pompeii 1755 stopped at same bar for bathrooms & snacks. 1810 left 1945 arrive back.

Long ride to the past - Francesca gave us some interesting information about Rome, Napoli and their regions. We only took the ride down from Rome to Pompeji and explored the museum by ourselves. The ride through Napoli was time consuming and we didn't benefit much from it. The forced stops at the halfway-point shop next to the highway took a long time and their goods were quite overpriced.

Medium - Negatives: 2 hours late on arrival in Rome, being that we were 2 hours waiting in the bus standing waiting for another group that came from Sorrento, when they could have delayed the time of departure from Pompeii and one person had benefited at least another 1 hour; no ebook about Pompeii (I already had other experiences that did not have a Guide and that the agencies sent an e-book for a person to fit in). Positive points: organized public transport and skip the line ticket to Pompeii.
