Amazing tour of history enhanced by the guidance of Vincenz - An amazing tour of history enhanced by the excellent guidance of Vincenzo. We booked a group tour but since we were the only ones to book that time slot were offered a private tour. Booking that with Vincenzo was one of the best decisions of our trip. Highly knowledgeable, entertaining, and engaging. 10 stars!

Knowledgeable and personable guides - We booked through Mondo Tours for two tours - Pompeii (group tour) and Herculaneum (private tour) for our family of 9, which included two small children. Both of our guides - Mafalda and Manuela - were both excellent. They were incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and patient, and we got SO much more out of our visit with them as our guides. They truly brought each of these sites to life through their explanations and storytelling. Highly recommend!

Nice 2 hour tour in Pompeii - We enjoyed our tour of Pompeii. Mafalda did a great job of describing what we were seeing and providing the historical context, in a conversational style and not like a boring lecture. Her enthusiasm and knowledge gave the impressive Pompeii more meaning and gave us more understanding of the city in at that time. My questions were easily answered such as was there running water and sewers--yes, and the infrastructure was pointed out. Our weather was sunny and about 70 degrees F--perfect. Thanks again Mafalda!
Signed up using the info in the Rick Steve's Rome book, and the details of the tour are in the email. Ours was 20 euros, plus an additional 20 euros for the admittance ticket that was bought for us.

Excellent tour - This tour with Andrea was very good. He was very knowledgeable and
guided us well through the crowds. It was very easy to book on the web site
and communications were excellent. The group size was not too large.
We recommend Mondo and this tour.

Very satisfied customers. - We had a private tour of Pompeii with Manuela. From the get go, she was nice, friendly and pleasant to be around. The pace of the tour was good. Manuela was very knowledgeable about Pompeii so we were able to learn a lot more about it than what we already did from the internet. For that, we are glad that we went for a private tour(Just the 2 of us). We highly recommend a tour with Manuela.

Best Tour of our Italy trip - Manuela was our best tour guide of our whole trip. She spoke clearly, was knowledgeable, funny, friendly and informative. The 2 hours went fast and we would highly recommend going on a tour with her again. She navigated us through crowds at times and still kept the group together. She also had great recommendations on what we should explore on our own after our tour and pointed them out on our maps.
We also booked tours directly with Colosseum and Vatican. Manuela’s Pompei tour was the highlight of our trip!! We loved our small group tour with Mondo Guide.

Excellent Tour Guide & Lots of Info/Sites in 2 Hours - Roberta did the perfect tour and kept us away from the bigger crowds and was very informative. I thought the tour was aptly paced and we saw a lot in the time slotted. This was very helpful to understand the area and came away knowing so much more about many aspects of Pompeii!

Pompeii in the rain - we had to change our time because of a flight delay but Luca was able to accommodate us. Also it rained the entire tour, however again Luca did a great job finding the driest places we could find, It was a wonderful experience, we would reccomend him and the company. We are thinking of another tour in 2026, we will definatly use this company again,

Wonderful guide for Pompeii - Our guide, Roberta, was excellent, very knowledgeable about Pompeii. She had lots of interesting facts and stories to tell us. The length of the tour was good. It was nice to have such a small group-10 of us I believe. And really great to skip the lines.
