Wonderful tour guide - Very knowledgeable and patient guide, I enjoyed the pace we took through Pompeii as it was a busy day, but we definitely got a chance to see a great deal and had time to take photos many times as well. Would highly recommend.

CULTURE AND WONDER - Wonderful and if you make a trip to Campania, you must definitely visit this wonder. It is very hot so it is advisable to hydrate in a way and have a cap. Wonderful...go there at least once in your life

CULTURE AND WONDER - Extraordinarily beautiful site and full of culture. I had never gone but since the holiday would take place in Cilento, what better opportunity to go to Pompeii. It's long, tiring and this year under a scorching sun but it's really worth visiting at least once in a lifetime.

You need a guide! - Brilliant tour! It would honestly be pointless visiting without a guide. You get so much out of it, so much information, head to the right areas etc. Couldn't recommend a tour enough.

OK - I had difficulty listening through the Audio device. It was poor quality and it echoed. Although the tour guide seems to be knowledgeable enough (didn’t get the impression she was an archeologist), her thick accent with echoing device was not ideal.

A tour guide a must - Well worth a visit but need a tour guide to make sense of the ruins. Very large area. Need to be mobile and wear sensible shoes. In my opinion it would be great to see real buildings that look like they would have in the village. Shops, poor peoples house, rich people’s house’s to give a real sense of all that has been uncovered.

Nice basic tour - Group was larger than I expected but guide was knowledgeable and in open spaces the size of the group was manageable

Not as Advertised. - This was advertised as a 2 hour tour with an Archeologist. We started 20 minutes late because of issues with the headsets and ended 20 minutes early because the guide skipped some of the most interesting parts of the site. FYI… our guide was not an Archeologist. I do not remember the guides name only that she had a purple umbrella and had issues with stamina.

Did not meet expectations - I attended the 2 hour tour on Saturday 27th July, and was hosted by a guide, who I believe her name was Manuella. The tour was meant to begin at 11am. However, the group did not enter Pompeii until 11:20. Whilst Manuella had excellent knowledge of the site, we did not visit many points of interest. She spoke about the Baths, the Amphitheatre, and the Brothels, however, we did not go into any of these. We only visited the main street, the main square, and a house. Finally, we were asked to give our radios back at 12:40. Thus, the tour only lasted 1 hour and 20 minutes, rather than the 2 hours that was advertised and paid for. Additionally, once the radios were given back, we were not given a map of the site, and so were expected to navigate out own way around. I am very disappointed with the service given and the tour that was provided. I do not feel that this met the expectations that were advertised.
