Visit the top of the volcano that destroyed Pompeii nearly 2000 years ago. With a 7-hour guided tour, stroll through the streets of Pompeii alongside an archaeological guide (or with the accompaniment of an audio guide). Drive 3280 feet (1000 m) up Mt. Vesuvius and walk the path to the crater’s edge. Enjoy the view of the Bay of Naples and learn the geology of the volcano from an expert volcanologist guide. The maximum group size is 40 passengers. Choose between the different group sizes and try a special wine tasting!
- A minimum of 2 people is required to operate tour
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- During the low season (November - March) the live guide inside Pompeii ruins will be replaced by an audio guide for groups of less than six
- Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time

Great tour with Giovanni and Gennaro - Thank you for the well organized and interesting tour. In Pompeji we had Roberto as a guide who was very knowledgeable about the place. The lunch was perfect and very tasty. On Mount Vesuvius we had plenty of tine to explore the area on our own.
Giovanni was our tour guide and took great care for us. Special thanks to the driver Gennaro who always drove carefully in Naples and especially on the Vesuv! Great job of everybody!

Great choice - Leonardo was a funny & insightful guide. He did a good job of explaining everything and gave us to the very amazing Pompeii Anna. Everything went according to schedule and well planned out. Leonardo even gave the rides extra water bottle for free. Only advice is to not take the wine portion of the tour in the summer and/or hot days. You ate right before the strenuous hike and your body might not cooperate. We booked the small group option and it was totally worth it for the ease and comfort.

Amazing tour with Gabriel - Both the Pompeii and Vesuvius tours were amazing. Gabriel especially was an amazing guide and made the whole day better.

Great tour with Giovanni - Giovanni and the driver Lino made our day enjoyable. Got to all locations smoothly, had enough time at both locations. We learned a lot, and had a very good lunch before the hike at Vessuvio. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Fabulous experience! - It was a wonderful tour and Giovanni was an excellent guide. He was friendly and helpful and on time. Lino was a very safe and competent driver even with the difficulty going up Mt Vesuvius. I would also like to mention our very knowledgeable and experienced guide at Pompeii, Claudia. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Ruins, wine and Mount Vesuvius = amazing! - Amazing excursion! First we visited Pompeii with a wonderful guide, next we had a massive lunch with wine tasting ( pizza, pasta, dessert and 3 wines!) Absolutely delicious - we were stuffed. Last, we climbed Mount Vesuvius and burned all the food off - haha! What a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

Excellent Pompeii/Vesuvius excursion! - Leandro was an amazing guide and our driver was super professional. Pompeii is so incredible and Vesuvius is breathtaking! The lunch at the vineyard was also quite good!

Pompeii was wonderful - Seeing and learning about Pompeii was fascinating. We had a great, very knowledgeable guide.
I would skip the lunch -pasta was not very good.
