Pompeii and Sorrento Tour - We arranged a private tour with Silver Star Tours. Luisa from Silver Star sent Elio to be our driver and tour guide. We would like to say that Luisa and Elio made our trip to Italy to the Amalfi Coast a wonderful experience, from pickup to drop off everything went perfectly! Sorrento Daytours with Elio -private driver - We had the most amazing time with our Private Driver Elio! He truly is the best. He made our day very special. We gave him an idea of what we wanted to do and he made it happen! We started in Sorrento, did the Amalfi Coast, Positano and Ravello. He even found us time to do a portion of the path of lemons!!! He is extremely knowledgeable about the towns, history and the culture. He went over above and beyond. He gave us recommendations for dining and other places to visit! Truly a best in class. Amazing Experience that will exceed your expectations! - My family and I can't rave enough about our experience with Sorrento Silver Star Tours! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Roberto was our FABULOUS driver who afforded us a personal experience that went above and beyond our wildest expectations. From the moment he picked us up from Napoli's train station to the moment he dropped us back off, he gave us his 110%! This was our first family vacation to Italy, it was late July, the weather was off the charts hot (from what we are used to anyway), and after touring Pompeii (amazing tour with Louisa), we needed to cool off. Knowing all of that, while we were on our Pompeii adventure, Roberto made arrangements/reservations for us to eat at an amazing restaurant in the beautiful coastal town of Minori, along the Amalfi coast. This restaurant had access to a private beach and Roberto made our dreams of swimming in the Mediterranean a reality! He arranged for the restaurant to allow us access to the private beach and our time spent swimming in that amazing water left us wanting more...it was so hard to leave! This little excursion was a day trip for us, as we were staying in Rome, so it was amazing to have this family beach time...we left with just the best memories of that day. Roberto, you are a wonderful driver, host, tour guide, and now a great friend!!! You really made us feel like we were apart of your family. The way someone makes you feel says more about them than any words that can ever be spoken. A huge THANK YOU to Sorrento Silver Star Tours and, especially, Roberto! Great tour - helpful company! - Bravo to Sorrento Silver Star Tours! We booked a car to pick us up at the Naples train station, take us to Pompeii, drive along part of the Amalfi coast and then take us back to the train station. Roberto was wonderful! He met us at the station and took us to Pompeii where Luisa had arranged a tour guide for us. The tour guide, also named Luisa, was WONDERFUL! She was so passionate about Pompeii and the history and really made the visit fun, engaging and interesting. She was so thoughtful and helpful and really made the visit special. After the tour, Roberto arranged for us to have a lunch at a restaurant at the beach in Sorrento and then drove us along the coast to see Positano, before going back to the train station. I would HIGHLY recommend this car service for anyone visiting the area needing a transfer or wanting to tour Pompeii. They are the best. Luisa at the company was very responsive prior to our trip. All was great!
