Discover the history of Puerto Rico’s earliest inhabitants, the Taínos, and explore the medicinal plants in the Botanical Garden.
- Yauco - Known as the coffee city of Puerto Rico, Yauco invites you to explore its plaza and vibrant, steep streets. Delve into the history of Puerto Rico’s once-thriving coffee industry and savor a cup of coffee in the town square. Guests can capture photos at the most colorful spots: Plaza Pablo El Negro and Yaucromatic.
- Ponce - Discover Ponce, the second largest city in Puerto Rico, as you tour its colorful streets. Once at the quaint town square, guests can enjoy free time to explore independently. In the plaza, admire historical buildings such as the Parque de Bombas, City Hall, Banco Popular Building, and Melia Hotel. This is the first stop for restrooms, snacks, coffee, and shopping.
- Cabo Rojo - Our initial stop is the Cabo Rojo salt flats. Marvel at the stunning salt crystals, and if fortunate, witness them in pink. The pink hue is a natural phenomenon caused by high salinity, though external factors may influence the color.
Visits to the Cabo Rojo lighthouse depend on terrain conditions and the Department of Natural Resources’ permit. Weather conditions prior to the tour may impact the main road to the lighthouse, leading to closures for safety reasons.
Conclude your day with a refreshing swim at Buye Beach, one of Puerto Rico’s most renowned beaches.
- Playa Buye - End your day with a sunset swim at Cabo Rojo’s most famous beach.
- Bosque Estatal de Guanica - Ever visited a dry forest? Explore UNESCO’s Biosphere Reserve, the Guanica Dry Forest. Our tour guide will drive you through the forest, allowing you to explore the cacti that adorn the trails. Take a dip at Jaboncillo Beach and enjoy the views of Punta Ballena Beach.
