A perfect day. - Eduardo was our guide for the day and was excellent. We were very lucky because it was just us in the van so we had our own private tour (we booked a group tour). We were lucky with the weather too and saw some beautiful views. We chose to visit Parque Terra Nostra for a dip in the lake and a wander around the beautiful garden. (You can also be dropped at Poca Dona Beija I believe ). After 2 hours we met back with Edu and he took us to Restaurante Tony's for lunch where we were very well looked after, despite the place being packed. Starter, drinks, Cozido das Furnas and dessert all included in the trip price. Excellent food and so much of it! A walk around the calderas and fumaroles was very interesting. Some more fantastic views then a stop at the tea plantation. Edu was extremely knowledgeable about everything we saw that day and was very friendly and helpful.

Furnas in a day! - Cannot say enough positive things about our tour yesterday. We lucked out with sunshine when in the thermal bath and walking through the park. Eduardo was very kind and knowledgeable. I would book again with Into the Wild to see the other side of the island. Thank you for a great day!

Amazing guide - I was a little bit hesitant about buying booking through Into The Wild as they weren’t on the official Azores website BUT I am so glad that I did. I was only in São Miguel for 4 days so I wanted to see as much as I could. However, I visited mid March and while I was there things were starting to be closed down by the Government due to covid. Bruno kept in contact and picked me up on time in an immaculately clean minibus. I was surprised that I was the only one on the tour as others had cancelled. It speaks a lot as to how professional that Bruno is that he didn’t cancel my trip too. Bruno explained that some places would be closed but that we’d take our time and anywhere I wanted to stop to look at or take photograph stop let him know. I was able to leisurely stop at some amazingly viewpoints and just spending time appreciating the island. Unfortunately Furnas and that spas were closed but I was still able to have an incredible lunch that had been cooked in the ground. Thanks to Bruno’s local knowledge, I was able to spend time dipping my feet in a mini-spa next to a river so I didn’t entirely miss out. Bruno is very knowledgable and passionate about São Miguel. I always like to support an independent company where I can and wholeheartedly I can say that I will be back to take further tours with Bruno. Cannot recommend enough.

the tour was amazing - I really enjoyed his tours and the beautiful places that he showed me. really a must. he does his job with a lot of love and passion and he does everything to show you the best, everything to give you a nice day. and he know everything about the island. thanks for te nice days !

An amazing way to tour Furnas and more - We had an amazing day with Bruno on the Furnas Hot Springs Full Day Tour. He was very knowledgeable on all the places he took us and very patiently answered our many questions. The tour included a typical Furnas stew for lunch along with your choice of drinks. We chose some vino verde which was fun to try. He even accommodated our lone vegetarian’s meal request. The highlight was the thermal baths of Poça da Beija which again Bruno let us spend as much time as we wanted in those warm soaking waters. The tour included more things than just Furnas and between the explanations and the spectacular views, it was a day to remember. We would definitely recommend Bruno and his Into the Wild tours

Amazing day with an excellent knowledgeable guide - My friend and I had sadly only one day to view Ponta Delgada and Bruno made every minute worthwhile. He has an excellent knowledge of the island and the surrounding islands, makes the trip fun and I can’t praise him enough! From tea plantations, amazing views, thermal spring baths to watching them take out the pots of stew from the volcano and enjoy this excellent feast.. fabulous! I will be back again, next time with my husband and hopefully stay a week as there is so much to do and see and we hope to book Bruno so that no time is wasted! Just amazing, thanks Bruno

Wonderful experience - Had a fantastic tour of Furnas with Bruno today. He picked us up from the hotel and took us to some amazing places, including the hot springs, thermal baths and the tea plantation. Along the way we stopped off to visit different locations for some magnificent views of the island. Bruno was brilliant throughout, he is friendly and funny and very knowledgeable and passionate about Sao Miguel. I would recommend Bruno's private tour to anyone who wants to experience Sao Miguel at their own pace, with a guide who feels like a friend. One of the best meals we had during our holiday was during our trip with Bruno. 5 stars.

Probably the best tour in the Island - If you want to visit Furnas and the sorroundings with no stress and enough time to enjoy , this is the one to pick. Well spent day with Bruno that will forever remain in our memories.

Authentic and customized tour! - Into the Wild (appropriately named after the Reese Witherspoon movie) is one of the best ways to explore Sao Miguel. I travel extensively throughout the world and while I am a bit bias of my love for Sao Miguel because of my Azorean roots, I can honestly say that Bruno was one of the most authentic and sweetest tour guides that I've ever had. He exudes a great pride for his motherland and because of his native roots he knows all the "hotspots" of the island. There is a story behind every natural resource, village, and church & Bruno explains the reasons, the myths and the facts for them all. Awesome Day - I am so glad that I booked this tour...I had an amazing day! Bruno was a knowledgeable and friendly guide who knows his island very well and loves its wild and beautiful nature and rich culture. He was very patient with an artist who has to photograph everything, (and waited patiently for me while I went to the hot springs as well). He even took me to the amazing Archipelago Contemporary Art Center when requested which was not on the tour. Furnas is not to be missed, and I was very happy to discover a beautiful beach I would never have known about, as well as stunning vistas and observation points. A lovely lunch as well! First class.
