Wonderful tour and guide! - Carlos was a fantastic guide and host! His tour was exactly what we were looking for- a tour that took us to places that only a local would know about, many of which were only accessible by a 4WD vehicle like his. Carlos was extremely accommodating to our schedule and was a pleasure to work with. Being Azorean himself, he shared many insights and had answers to even our most random of questions. On this tour, we traveled throughout the west and north of Sao Miguel, stopping at unique spots like a hidden windmill, a stunning view of Sete Cidades without all the tourists (only easily accessible with a 4WD), a small faja on the coast, and so much more. If you are looking for a tour that isn’t just going to visit the typical touristy spots, then I’d recommend booking with Carlos!

Best excursion ever - Our tour with Carlos was spectacular! He took us and showed us very special places that the other tours do not show it to you! We highly recommend Carlos’s tour to have an epic experience in Azores ! He is local and knows everything about Ponda Delgada! If you go to Ponta Delgada , you make sure take this excursion , he makes sure to take you to the windmill and you should not miss that view as well as the Sete Citates ! You are in good hands with Carlos and he will make your tour so fun that you won’t want it to end! Great excursion with beautiful views on the path less taken - This tour was so fun and a true adventure. Carlos was a great tour guide and ensured that we made it back to our cruise on-time. The roads he took us down were rugged and so scenic. He is a great driver with lot of off-road experience. I highly recommend this trip if you are looking for a fun excursion that is not the normal you would find provided through the cruise ship.

An exceptional and unique experience - I found this tour on the site and it offered everything I wanted. We had been to the Azores before so was looking for a more unique tour. Carlos gave us just that and more. We had an incredible time with him. My photos are just amazing and the best bit was that he took us to places that had very few other people there. We felt like locals rather than tourists. Carlos offers a fantastic service. He was on time for the pick, he gave us a brief induction on what to expect(4x4’s ) can be very rocky and a bumpy drive. His knowledge of the island and more made the trip super interesting and the fact he is a local guy really enhanced the tour. The vehicle was in excellent condition and very clean. The ride was exciting. All in all the tour was exceptional value for money and if you want to see the real Azores rather than the standard tourist area then I suggest you take this experience Carlos offers. Carlos speaks English extremely well too so that was a plus for us. I can’t say enough good things about our time with Carlos and the Azores. My husband left his phone in the vehicle but no worries one quick call and Carlos was back at the Port phone in hand….

Off-road ride at the east side of the island! - On an off-road ride, Carlos took me to places that anyone else, wouldn’t go. It was an awesome experience and I would do it again! A very polite guy with lots off o know-how and good driving skills.
