Great highlights of the city and the meal was 6 stars. - The tour guy was very optimistic and very concise and what he had to say. He did not go on and on about things that were not of interest to us, but he was to the fact and gave us actual examples. The meal was actually the best meal I've had since I've been here. The meat was absolutely wonderful and it was quite fun cooking on my own stone. I can get it as rare as I wanted. The red wine at this place was best I've had since I've been here.

Perfect morning in Ponta Delgada - Fred was a wonderful guide. Informative, personable, and with a great sense of humour. We really enjoyed the company, too, and had plenty of time to socialize and get to know people. Highly recommended!

A great way to learn about the Azores, see Ponta Delgada, and eat well! - We had an excellent tour with Fred, our guide. This tour is the best way to learn about the Azores, and to see unexpected beauty in hidden spots. As for the food, it was incredible. We had two stops. The first was to sample traditional pastries and cheese and tea. The second was a five-course lunch! The food and service were great. We would highly recommend this company, this particular tour, and our guide FRED!!

Great intro to Sao Miguel, Ponta Delgado and the Azores. - Fred was a great tour guide. We learned a lot about the history of Ponta Delgado during our tour. This was a great experience of walking downtown (both in and out of the sun), learning about the Azorean culture and finding little stores that we visited later on our trip. Definitely encouraged to experience this early in your Sao Miguel adventures.

Fantastic Food Tour - We should have done this tour as our first activity (instead of our last one). Fred was the most knowledgeable tour guide we had during our 5 days and gave us the best overview of the Island and so many interesting facts about Ponta Delgada. Come hungry, the Sunday tour was a full-size breakfast followed by a 5-course lunch with water & wine. Fred also gave us a great list of places to visit the next time we visit the island. We certainly will try another one of their tours when we are back. Thank you! We loved it!

Diogo was an exceptional host - We were all exhausted from the trip from the US and had this walking tour booked in case our hotel was ready. We figured it would be a good opportunity to kill some time. It was so much more. Diogo was our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and area. He brought us to see some great sites and shops where the “locals” go. We started the tour with a brunch (1030am)- tea (made on the island) local cheese, breads and pastries. Then we walked throughout this historic town. We capped off with the most amazing lunch (13:00) which had 5 courses. The food and wine were delicious and incredibly filling. It was a fantastic way to spend the day to learn and appreciate this beautiful island.
