Amazing! - Our tour guide was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. They took us to some hidden local gems that we would have never discovered on our own. The views along the way were incredible, especially at the top, it was definitely worth the climb!! We even stopped for a coffee break at a charming spot along the way, which was a perfect touch. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the area in a unique and memorable way with a bit of adventure!

Wonderful ride - My husband and I had a great time! The areas we rode were beautiful and our guide was very knowledgeable about the areas we toured.

Excellent but pricey - The guide was excellent and so was the tour. I did pay over £60 which I thought was a little on the high side for a half day cycle ride.

Fresh air and Fantastic scenery - We had 3 x fantastic e-bike tours with Madeira Island Route during our holiday - The North, The West and an improvised East tour (due to poor weather at the original tour site). The scenery and views were amazing in all 3 rides and the length of the rides was perfect (half day). The e-bikes were powerful (you do still have to pedal though!). Venancio is a fabulous guide - he speaks excellent English, shares interesting facts about the island, paces the rides just right, is considerate of comfort breaks and takes you to some great cafes! The company is very responsive to queries, the tours are easy to book and well priced. We were even picked up from our hotel which was outside of Funchal. Excellent all round - Thank you :)

Don’t miss this opportunity!!$ - We so enjoyed cycling on the Northern side of the island. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the island. The e-bikes helped us traverse up the hills and coming down was a reward in itself. The views were beyond stunning in both directions ! Thank you for a very memorable time!

Brilliant mountain cycle - Fantastic e-bike tour on the challenging hills of Maderia. We were picked up promptly by our guide and taken over to the north side of the island where we met a family of four for our ride. Seriously, there are no flat roads in Maderia so don’t expect a gentle cycle path ride. We climbed some serious climbs but the bikes supplied made mincemeat of them. A thoroughly enjoyable ride, about 30kms in total, made all the better by our knowledgeable guide. Some cycling experience is necessary as the ride was on road. Well recommended

Electric Bike Tour GREAT - The small group usually up to 6 people. This will give you more attention and you will experience much more fun cycling. The Guide adapted well to our level. All in all definitely worth it. Price / quality is top.

E bike is nice experience - The guide is really perfect and professional and speaks well English and you have a good information about the area. The tour was very nice but little bit hard. It’s not easy for everyone.

Great tour with great scenery - There were no other guests on our booked day, so we had a private tour. The guide picked us up on time at the hotel and was super friendly. He spoke good German, even if we would have been satisfied with English. It goes across the road up and down the mountains. If you also ride a little bike at home, the tour is quite feasible. Overall we drove 35km and got to know Madeira from a great side including tips and interesting facts from Guide. Thank you for that.

Great experience - Had a great time. Never been on an e bike before and it's a lovely way to see the island. Went to some amazing viewpoints overlooking the cliffs and blue ocean and stopped for a drink and snack at a local cafe. Great host and lovely group
