Popayan - The excursion begins with a 7:00 AM pickup from your hotel in Popayan. The journey will take you to Tierradentro National Archaeological Park, a significant archaeological site in Colombia.

Guanacas - A brief stop will be made to capture photos of the stunning valley of the frailejones, a unique plant of the Andean ecosystem. The tour will then continue for about an hour to the delightful village of Inzá.

Inza - A delightful breakfast will be enjoyed in the village of Inza.

Pirámide de Tierradentro - An hour-long walk will lead to the impressive pyramid of Inza and its underground caves, offering breathtaking views of the Ulluco River.

Tierradentro National Archaeological Park - The tour will proceed to the archaeological park, rich in anthropological and historical significance. Visitors will explore remnants from three historical periods: pre-Hispanic, colonial, and republican. The tour includes walking among pyramids and underground graves known as hypogea, carved directly into volcanic rock. The burial chambers, some as deep as 8 meters, are adorned with intricate decorations. Iglesia Doctrinera San Andres de Pisimbala - In the afternoon, remnants of the colonial era will be explored by visiting the church of San Andrés de Pisimbalá, a fascinating stone structure with a thatched roof.

Tierradentro - A delightful breakfast will be served at the hotel to prepare for an 8:00 AM departure to San Agustin, with time allocated for a lunch stop during the journey.

San Agustin - Arrival at the hotel “Los Andaquies” or a similar establishment. The afternoon will be free to explore the vibrant village of San Agustin.
