Dolphins Sanctuary kayak experience - Yesterday we completed a tour with Adventure Kayaking. They are a small operation and the group size was perfect, 4 double kayaks plus the guide. They did a great job fitting everyone with their life jackets and adjusting their footrests in the kayak and a quick overview of paddling basics before heading out. Our guide was very personable and interacted well with the entire group. Seemed very knowledgeable about the area and was upfront when he didn't. Pace was good and everyone was able to keep up as a group. We were actually able to see a dolphin up close. I would definitely book with them again. Minor improvement would be a sign indicating their site but that was not a big deal.

Active and refreshing - A wonderful 1/2 day activity out on the water with my teenage kids, the guides Abby and Oliver were very knowledgeable and helpful, making sure we could keep up with the group when we needed some extra paddling power. Unfortunately we didn’t see any dolphins on the tour but we really enjoyed it anyway, especially the mangroves. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend! Amazing experience - I participated in the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary and Ships Graveyard Kayak Tour. The guide was very responsible in explaining the sights and providing information about the history of dolphin conservation. They also showed you stingrays. I were grateful for the guide's thorough explanations. The entire journey lasted 3 hours, giving you a fulfilling kayaking experience in the bay of South Australia. I highly recommend this tour and consider it a must-do experience for anyone visiting Adelaide.

The closest we’ve ever been to a dolphin! - Luke was the best! He communicated clearly, was engaging and his deep knowledge of the area was evident. The tour was really enjoyable, and extremely reasonably priced.

No dolphins, single shipwreck, waste of time - No dolphins (as the guides expected) and ONE shipwreck. The guide spent majority of the time talking to a single kayaker and for 1.5 hours the rest of us kayaked around aimlessly waiting for instruction or something to do. Then you’re literally taken into the mangroves, not an enjoyable experience. Overall, sucked. Feels like the company and guides know full well chances of seeing dolphins is really low. So rename the activity to not call it “dolphin sanctuary”
