Olympic NP is Very Different from Mt Rainiet - My wife and I loved this self-guided tour for Mt Rainier, and loved it for Olympic NP. We did the Hurricane Ridge and Hoh Rainforest bonus tours as well. However, it would have been helpful to understand that Olympic is best seen by foot as there is no car tour through the park. We ended up in the car for 13 hours as we circumnavigated the entire park. Also, it would have been nice to have an additional bonus tour for the part of Olympic that runs along the Pacific Ocean and additional points of interest along the southwestern and south road in the park.

Loved It! - Loved the audio tour. Very pleasant voice and provided an abundance of information about where and what to see as well as background information on the different areas of interest.

Well worth it! - Given the price of other tours this was a great way to learn about the Olympic Rain Forest at our own pace. We could stop where and when we wanted without concern. The Hoh river trail and Rialto Beach audio tour was far less impressive, and the Hurricane Ridge tour was slightly better. Since they were bonus tours, expectations were low. I would highly recommend this in lieu of shelling out hundreds of dollars for a family of 4 just to have a live guide.

Great audio tour to pair with a drive through ONP - Easy to recommend this self-guided audio tour! Rather than hiking, we took in Olympic National Park by car. I downloaded the audio tour to my phone before we left home so we had zero trouble listening even when cell service was faint or nonexistent. As we followed the trail, the narrator would automatically start talking as we approached various points of interest. The information was engaging, sprinkled with fascinating stories, and told with a very pleasant voice. Including stops to enjoy the views, and also driving up to see Hurricane Ridge (we didn’t drive to see Hoh Rain Forest), the total time was around five hours.

Great value, but room to improve - Great concept, easy to use, great platform, seamless executions but we wanted more! The talking points were interesting but more commentary about the landscape, the history, the vegetation and wildlife would’ve made it even better. For the price, this was a fun way to explore the area, but I’d have paid more for additional content.

Great tour to go on your own. - The Tour is a great way to learn more about the park as you drive. We enjoyed it a lot. The only change is that I wish it repeated the information in reverse as we traveled back. When we drove to Hurricane Ridge there were some spots we passed by on the way up to return to on the way down. If the tour reversed for the trip down it would have helped us navigate those spots better.

Unfortunately there were... - Unfortunately there were no truly memorable experiences as a driving tour. Stopping points were not clearly pointed out especially since the guide is relying on GPS to track our progress. There was not always a specific road to turn off on or an indicator saying that the viewpoint was in a specific distance. The time was filled with folk stories in lieu of more pertinent information about the Park and some of it’s history and geology.

Only just OK. - I had huge hopes for using this audio tour since we could tour at our own pace. I found it just ok. It could have had a lot more information included. Instead it gave same script on two of the 3 tours we took on several occasions. We aren’t taking the 3rd tour but I suspect the same there. It really needs to be beefed up with more information and background information. It cannot compete with live tour guides as they can fill in a lot of local info and frequently asked questions.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - This app is a waste of your money, it doesn’t work offline even when you download the content, I was in the middle of nowhere and the app didn’t work with or without apple car play, if you go a national park just download the NPS app and pick your destination using their free app
