The views on the journey will be stunning and we will also stop along the way to take photos. One of our photo stops will be at the Es Colomer view point, where the scenery is breathtaking.
  • Port de Pollenca - As we venture through the Tramuntana Mountain Range towards the viewpoint you will experience some of the most glorious views of the Bay of Pollensa, and also ever so slightly the Bay of Alcudia!
  • Mirador Es Colomer Formentor - When we reach the Colomer Viewpoint, you will be greeted by a monument of Antonio Parietti Coll, the engineer who designed both the road and this viewpoint. Located more than 200 metres above sea level, the viewpoint offers spectacular views of the Serra de Tramuntana and the Mediterranean, particularly at sunset!
  • Albercutx Watchtower - After taking in the unbelievable views from the Colomer Viewpoint we will head up to the watchtower!
The watchtower of Albercuix, located 380 metres above sea level, forms part of the system of fortified and armed towers that were built on the island between the end of the 16th century and the beginning of the 17th century in response to the rise of piracy.

Highlight of our Mallorca trip - This tour was an excellent way to end our Mallorca trip. We had the opportunity to enjoy the scenic route of Formentor whilst listening to our guide Pedro talk about the history of Alcudia. The formentor lookout was such a magnificent view. We ended our trip in the tower, watching the sunset whilst having cava and strawberries. Photos can't give justice to how beautiful the sunset was and the scenery at the top. Definitely worth it!

Brilliant tour, well worth it! - Brilliant tour! Took us up the mountains and too a beautiful beach. The weather was cloudy all day, but it still went ahead and with just 5 minutes until sunset the clouds cleared up, and we saw the sunset. You view the sunset from on top of a mountain. Your given strawberry’s and a good amount of carva. Well worth the trip! Thank you very much 🙂

An absolute must-do experience. Romantic, informative and some fantastic views. - This sunset trip to Formentor was fantastic. Me and my fiancé were picked up and dropped off near our hotel in C'an Picafort and the drive was nice in an air conditioned spacious minibus. I was nervous about this as not the biggest fan of heights, but the tour guide Séamus instantly made me feel at ease and was incredible throughout the entire experience. Very knowledgeable about the local area with an obvious passion for Mallorca. The trip was still well worth doing, even with my fear of heights. Once everyone was picked up we headed to Formentor. The roads are a bit windy and up hill near the Watchtower and the nearby lookout point. We visited the lookout point first which was fantastic with great views. Because we had time to spare before Sunset, we were also taken for a short time to a beach for some photos which was a nice detour and added value. We then made out way to the watchtower which was fantastic. A few glasses of Cava and many strawberries later we watched the sun setting, along with a panoramic view of the northern tip of Mallorca. A brilliant trip and would definitely recommend. Would give it 10 stars if I could. A must.

Spectacular experience - Our host Pedro gave us the most spectacular tour of North Mallorca cost. Pedro had a lot of knowledge to share about Alcudia, Pollencia and the history of it. I was really happy that we got to do the tour privately. I strongly recommend this tour to everyone, worth the money!

Great short trip! - Great short trip! Even if this is more a romantic trip, but we came as a family, with two boys under 10 years old. Our tour guide Pedro made us feel very welcome. He was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He brought blankets and refreshments. We had great time and saw the most amazing sunset.

A memorable evening…. - We saw this tour advertised, and it immediately appealed as, despite many visits to Mallorca, we had never been to Formentor. We drove from our accommodation in the middle of the island and were able to park right next to our pick up point in Alcudia. The minibus is compact, with seats for 8 guests and our driver was Pedro, who pointed out various landmarks as we commenced our tour. Our first stop was at the Mirador es Colomer where there was ample time to take in the stunning views and then it was onwards and upwards to Talaia d’Albercutx, to view the sunset. There is a fairly steep climb up an uneven path to reach the rocky outcrop on which the watchtower stands so sturdy footwear is a good idea. Pedro did a fantastic job carrying cool boxes of cava, strawberries and grapes for us and declined all offers of help. The supplies were generous and enjoyed by all as we settled down to watch the sun slip towards the horizon. Pedro was helpful in taking photos of all members of the group and continued to point out landmarks and interesting features of our surroundings. After sunset we carefully descended back down to the small parking area and returned to the Alcudia Bay Area dropping people off along the way. This was a memorable evening and a special way to celebrate a significant birthday!
