Bucket list trip to the Great Barrier Reef - This has been a bucket list trip 30 years in the making. I did a ton of research in advance of our snorkeling trip to the Great Barrier Reef. Having a 30 year boat Captain with local reef knowledge and two marine biologists swimming alongside us in a small group made us all feel very safe. Our boat allowed us to go to smaller reefs with INCREDIBLE views. While snorkeling, the guides pointed out various corals, fish, and marine life. Don’t miss this intimate, very informative and educational adventure led by passionate advocates for the Reef!!!

Great snorkeling in a small group - My partner and I booked a snorkeling tour with ABC at the beginning of October, and it was great! Our captain was Jason, our snorkeling guides Sam and Paola. We had 2 sessions. Both times we were split in 2 groups, one for each guide - so you are 6 guests max per group - and we saw loads. Turtles, (healthy) corals, countless species of pretty fish of various sizes like clownfish, trumpet fish etc. Some of our fellow snorkelers saw a shark and a barracuda. My personal highlights were the giant clams, which I had never seen before. Between the sessions, we had tea and pastries. After the 2nd session we had lunch (a chicken wrap if I remember correctly) during the ride back. Beyond the snorkeling, which was really good, what made the trip great was the size of the group and the passionate crew. Jason took us to great spots. Sam and Paola were super engaged, knowledgeable, fun and attentive. I had a health issue which made swimming awkward, and my partner is generally a poor swimmer, but Sam and Paola checked in with us at the beginning to understand our needs better, and made sure we were fine at all times. At some point Paola even waited for me while I was attending to my health issue on the boat for the 2nd session while Sam had taken the rest of the group until we could join. I was so embarrassed, but they acted like it was the least they could do. They could name everything we saw and had a piece of info for each fish. Top guides. Overall the experience felt much more personal than any large tour we could have booked. Thank you ABC!

Perfect trip! - Perfect trip! The crew was very professional, helpfull and enthousiastic. All instructions were clear and we got a lot of tips and interaction. Because of the small group you will get a personal experience. Recommended!

I would recommend this trip to my family - This was a great experience. The wet suites kept you warm and we could float without a life jacket. They solved my two big fears.. We went out over the reef and were a few feet above the coral. There were a crazy amount of fish and vibrant coral. Our person assigned to us dived and brought up various things and could explain everything. This was a great trip

Best day ever - We’ve been out on the water around the world and this was one of the best days ever. Crew was friendly, experienced and knowledgeable. On our outbound journey, we went over what we were about to do and see using books with pics and maps of the area. Dives were amazing, food was really great as well. Thank you ABC crew! - Above and beyond is the best way to describe our experience on the Great Barrier Reef with the ABC crew. We are no regular snorklers and with our first and only visit to the GBR we chose for this small group option hoping to maximize the experience. Thanks to Paula, Inma and Jason with their friendly and professional guidance we had a wonderful day on the reef exceeding our expectations. A trip we will cherish for long.

Spectacular Ocean Reef tour - 5 stars!! Everything was perfect. Equipment was clean and of good quality. Safety was a priority, felt comfortable, even swimming with the sharks! Only 6 to a group, the staff made sure everyone was comfortable with the and snorkeling before heading out. The marine biologist took us out on a tour and made sure to point out many different species of fish, coral, etc. She dove down and took many pictures on the rented GoPro for me of different up close highlights, giant class, sharks, etc. A bargin for the price. The highlight of our trip.

DON'T GO WITH ANYONE ELSE BUT ABC!!!! - Wonderful crew, marine biologists, answered all our questions. 2 snorkel spots 1.5 hr each. Great lunch. Comfortable boat Small size groups of 6 to each crew. Felt very comfortable

The BEST GBR Snorkel - Beautiful trip. ABC did everything right. Left on-time, returned on-time, great crew with TWO marine biologists (1 for each diving party - just 5-6 people). How many people get to pet a pineapple sea cucumber on the Great Barrier Reef? Simply Excellent!

Awesome Day out on The Reef - Wonderful day out on the reef! Incredibly knowledgeable guides who are all Marine Biologists. Sam and the rest of the guides were friendly, informative and knew the best spots!
