Highlights
- Mossman Gorge - We will start at Mossman Gorge National Park, which is the southern part of the Daintree Rainforest. Your guide will share their knowledge of the local flora and fauna with you and answer any questions you may have. This is an easy 500m return walk mostly along boardwalks.
We enjoy a delicious Morning Tea at the Mossman Gorge Visitors Centre. Your choice of plunger coffee or Daintree Tea with a traditional damper served with jam, honey and cream.
- Daintree - Next we head along the Captain Cook Hwy through the township of Mossman and past the cane fields up to the Daintree Rainforest.
- Daintree River - At the Daintree River we will embark on a scenic Wildlife Cruise searching for snakes, beautiful birds and of course the mighty saltwater crocodiles.
On the way back in the afternoon we make our way across the Daintree River onboard the famous Daintree Ferry and enjoy the beautiful views up and down the river.
- Jindalba Boardwalk - You will enjoy a guided walk along the Jindalba Boardwalk, our favourite Daintree walk. With an abundance of flora and fauna to discover, you will get a real understanding of how the Daintree Rainforest lives. This is an easy 650m return boardwalk.
- Heritage Lodge In The Daintree - For lunch we head to the On The Turps Restaurant located at the Heritage Lodge. Enjoy a delicious cooked to order lunch in this open air restaurant nestled in the rainforest along the Cooper Creek.
- Cooper Creek - After lunch you are welcome to enjoy a refreshing swim in Cooper Creek. This beautiful rainforest creek is easy to access via a path from the restaurant and free of crocodiles. Relax and enjoy the tranquillity.
- Cape Tribulation - t’s now time to head off towards Cape Tribulation, the area famous for the saying where the “Rainforest meets the Reef.” You have time for a walk along the beach or to the lookout, an area steeped in history that is explained by your knowledgeable tour guide.
- Mount Alexandra Lookout - And a stop at the Alexandra Lookout to take in the beautiful views of the Rainforest and a stunning vista that extends past Cairns in the distance.

Mel star of Daintree Tours - We had such a fun day & it was mostly down to Mel our driver. She was fun and got our whole group to mix and we were alll friends by the end of the tour. She was very knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed our day

Great tour guide - Mel - fabulous day. - Amazing day. Out Tour Guide Mel was fantastic, very knowledgeable and a ray of sunshine. Caring and a lot of fun. The tour was well organised, Mossman Gorge, Daintree River with lots of crocodile, Lovely lunch in the forest and easy boardwalk and then on to Cape Tribulation. Seems like a long day but it was slow paced and very enjoyable. Highly recommend. Thanks Mel for a great day.

Rainforest - We did the full tour me and my wife with our experienced guide Mike (26/08).
The tour was really immersive and our guide was truly dedicated and happy to share all the informations we needed for the day.
I recommend it for people who want to have a great look of the rainforest in one day.

Cassowary Sighting - Seeing a Cassowary in the wild. Seeing crocodiles on the river banks and swimming. Cape Tribulation was beautiful. The local ice cream was refreshing and unique. Our guide Kim was full of information and stories. Our group of nine was an ideal size.

Fantastic - 10 hours. Mark is a tour guide who made our trip fun and not boring. He talked about everything while driving and seeing nature life. He explained the content. In addition, we had funny stories, funny questions to make us laugh. I recommend it. Mark, you are great.
