A nice day at the daintree with a 5 Star Guide - Nice easy walk with a lot of information about the Flora and Fauna. Highlight is the Swim at the Waterfall. The Lunch was exceptional at a very nice location. The Crocodile Tour was ok. Our Guide Allister is local and has many stories to tell. I wanted to also thank him to alter the tour for us. 5 Star rating

Excellent small group Daintree tour - We had a lovely day with Allister exploring the daintree! It was a small, personal tour where the minibus trips were short, therefore you spend the majority of the time exploring! Allister had lots of knowledge on the rainforest which was wonderful to learn! The hike to the waterfall was beautiful and the swim was tranquil and refreshing! We luckily saw a big crocodile and a small baby one on the crocodile cruise which was a fun experience! We also had a lovely lunch at a hidden rainforest restaurant which is included as part of the tour. Overall we would highly recommend this tour if you truly want to experience the Daintree in a locals shoes and visit a perfect spot in the rainforest!

Amazing tour of the rainforest with a personal touch - We had an amazing time with Allister on this tour. We specifically were looking for a tour that had a smaller and more personal experience, where we wouldn't be on a bus for most of the tour, and this was perfect. The ride up was quick, and Allister had lots of great info about the local area, the people, plants, animals and anything else we asked about. The hike to the waterfall was nice, and the waterfall was amazing. There was no one else there so we had the whole area to ourselves and it was absolutely amazing to jump into and just relax by the waterfall. Then we had a phenomenonal lunch at a local restaurant where we got to try some Kangaroo, and then ate a bunch of fun tropical fruits, while learning about the fruits from the owners! Finally the croc ride was very fun too, and was a relaxing capper to the tour. We saw several crocs, including a couple of the bigger ones! Would highly recommend if you're looking for a day tour to the rainforest with a more personal touch, that also won't use up 100% of your day, we were back to our car around 4:30 which was great.

VIP Rainforest tour 🌴 - This tour with Allister was absolutely amazing. He is a hippie Steve Irwin in the best way and you will love him! We wanted a tour that didn't involve a lot of driving, stopping for 30 minutes, more driving, etc. and this was exactly that. We got to hike through the rainforest and learn SO MUCH about animals, plants, life in the daintree, and most importantly, take our time. You hike to a private waterfall and get to swim in the water which was my favorite part. After the waterfall you hike back to have a delicious lunch and tropical fruit tasting. The tour ends with the 1 hr croc spotting tour, where you will definitely see some crocs. Allister has so many stories and great information, and you can ask him anything about his experience moving to and living in the rainforest. If you are unsure, definitely book this experience!

The best thing we did in Port Douglas - This was by far the best thing we did in Port Douglas! We got to hike in the real rainforest and swim under a beautiful waterfall. The lunch was delicious and took place in a lovely restaurant right next to the forest. Allister is a very knowledgeable guide who takes good care of his guests. Thank you again for this amazing experience!

Wonderful Private and Personalized Tour - Allister was early to pick us up in a nice air conditioned van equipped with a microphone and speaker to clearly hear him. Our day was with one other couple. Allister loves his job and his environment, and it shows in his time with us. We heard stories of the land, details of the plants, and how people live in the area. The provided lunch was quite a treat, a beautiful display of local fruits and amazingly cooked meats. The restaurant owner is quirky, but also passionate about his ingredients and you learn about their origin and different uses. The croc tour was fun to see crocs including a baby croc spotted by Allister himself! Being big hikers, we would’ve liked the waterfall hike itself to have been a bit longer. But, the waterfall swimming area was a special reward at the end. We went in late September and the weather was perfection. We were actually able to see Thornton Peak, which is a rare occurrence. Really enjoyable, relaxing day experiencing the Rainforest. Thank you Allister for sharing your passion with us!
