Recommended! - We had a great morning with Mel. She picked us up on time, drove safely, told a lot and spread good humor. The tour was very well organized and we were NOT rushed from A to B. On the contrary... there was enough time at the 2 stops:-) To the River Cruise: the Crocs are not fed. I think this is very good, but it can happen by not seeing a crocodile - that's just nature. ;-) We were lucky though. After the one-hour boat trip there was coffee, tea and very delicious muffins. Mossman Gorge: a short bus ride and a short walk lead to the gorge where you can swim. Everyone is free to go into the water, just relax a bit or walk around a bit. I would book there again.

Cam really looked after us, what a brilliant tour! - The perfect half day trip to explore the Daintree River and see Mossman Gorge. My tour guide Cam was absolutely amazing and completely made the day. He was immediately friendly and attentive, was full of very interesting information about the region and we had a great time! They picked me up and dropped me off at my hostel and we had the most delicious cake that Cam had picked up from the bakery for us that morning to have with a cup of tea. Couldn’t recommend this tour more for people wanting to see the area from Port Douglas. Thank you so much Cam!

Interesting, entertaining and fun! - What a great morning! We were all picked up by the very cheerful Cam and driven to our boat to sail along the Daintree River. Beautiful scenery and an opportunity to spot crocodiles. We arrived back to coffee, tea and delicious baked goods from Grant st Bakery. We then headed off to Mossman Gorge. Cam created a great atmosphere, balancing interesting facts and history with humour and personal anecdotes . If you’re looking for a memorable adventure with an entertaining and clever tour guide this is the trip for you.

Magnificent Morning at Daintree & Mossman George - Everything about this trip was excellent. Booked on line easily, then spoke to Grant who answered my questions and organised pick up from our Hotel. Peer was our guide and drove us on a luxurious air conditioned bus. The guide on the Daintree river entertained us with great knowledge with comedic commentary. Even managed to find a few crocodiles for us to see. The Mossman Gorge was beautiful and the swim in the Spring mini fall was too much fun. So happy we didn’t try to do this without guides. Best morning tea was provided midway through the trip. Thanks Daintree Discovery Tours for a fantastic day.

Excellent Half Day Tour to see The Daintree from Port Douglas - Great half day tour to get some exposure to the beautiful Daintree without a car in Port Douglas! Kim was a phenomenal tour guide, with extensive knowledge of nearly everything we passed by on the bus plus the locations we stopped at. We got lucky and saw 3 crocs on the river tour, but they do warn you as it gets to warmer season that the likelihood of seeing even one goes down quite a bit.

Daitree Discovery Tour - Interesting, excellent guide, Kim, great meal, a little disappointed not to see animals except the vague outline of a crocodile at the bottom of the river.
