Amazing Experience for Newly Certified Divers - Absolutely amazing experience with Martin as our dive guide! Would recommend to anyone looking into a dive guide, as well as anyone newer to diving that is considering diving the Great Barrier Reef. My wife and I were newly certified open water divers, and Martin helped us to select a great itinerary for a 3 days live aboard boat. While on the boat, Martin took us on 10 dives and guided us through every element of the dives — from dive planning, to equipment prep, to water entry, and then throughout the dive itself. Our experience was nothing short of exceptional! Could not more confidently recommend working with Martin and Scuba IQ for a dive trip. Martin is amazingly experienced and professional, and brings a great mix of education, fun, and excitement to the diving. For anyone newer to diving, having Martin as our guide on our 3-day live aboard was a great way to level-up our diving comfortability and skills. What a great day at the reef - The diving trip with Martin from scuba IQ was sensational. He is just such a likable, attentive guy who clearly knows the reef like the back of his hand. He helped me with everything and explained everything and even before I had booked, he had a very nice email exchange with me, detailing the trip with him.
It's basically like going diving with a good friend who shows you his place.
Needless to say, the reef is absolutely fantastic. I've enjoyed seeing it more than I thought I would.

Phenomenal experience - Look no further, SCUBA IQ is your go to dive company period. Martin provided the most dynamic and professional dive experience in our lifetime. Martin’s technical expertise and knowledge of the Great Barrier Reef (GBR) were unsurpassed. Our bucket list was overflowing with joy. Safety was paramount and he remained calm and cool at all times. His knowledge of the GBR reef allowed us to enjoy our dives without worry. He guided us to all of the premium dive locations. I can’t express how thankful we are to have met Martin. His easy going attitude and approach made it feel like we’ve known him for years. I hope to dive with him again in the future.

Amazing training in the Great Barrier Reef - Amazing, fantastic, incredible
All adjectives are not sufficient to qualify the experience. Martin is a great instructor, with 27 years experience. Very professional, patient, humble, he knows how to teach and to make you feel confident. Very well organised and the 2 days in open sea, at the great barrier reef! What else? Yes, he’s fluent in spanish and makes the training for me in my language! Highly recommended!

Got to experience the Great Barrier Reef in a safe and super fun environment! - My experience with Scuba IQ was amazing! My instructor Martin was incredibly patient and overall a great teacher. All his instructions were super clear and I never felt rushed in the learning process. By the time we were diving all together I felt extremely confident in my skills and I got to fully enjoy what the reef had to offer. 10/10 would recommend Scuba IQ to any new scuba divers that wanna get certified.

An incredible diving holiday - I had the most amazing time with Scuba IQ! Martin was extremely helpful, knowledgable, professional and entertaining. My friend and I both felt safe and relaxed, which is particularly important when diving with a less experienced diver. The rented equpment was is great condition! Communication was clear and easy, which made planning our trip super easy. I will be returnining to dive with Martin again!

A Must-Do for any Diver visiting Port Douglas - We had an amazing day at the Reef. Have seen plenty of fishes and even dived with a turtle.

Scuba IQ provides an exceptional experience; HIGHLY recommend! - Martin played an enormous role in making our honeymoon the trip of a lifetime! He was able to accommodate us on very short notice and provide an exceptional experience while getting our Open Water Certification. Martin was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and creative. He not only made sure we developed the necessary skills to be competent and confident in our diving capabilities, but made every single dive fun, engaging, and something to remember. We cannot thank him enough and our trip would not have been the same without this experience; we strongly recommend Scuba IQ!!

Excellent organization for our dives. we dived with the Bateau Calypso team: serious, professional and very friendly team.
Our dive guide Mickaël was perfect: punctual, professional, serious, pleasant, and very attentive to us. The two of us did three dives with Mickaël, each one as beautiful as the other!
On board the boat, hot drinks, small cakes, very hearty lunch, refreshments or hot drinks in the afternoon. Toilets and Showers on board: everything is very clean. Excellent day ! Nathalie and Christophe.

1st dive on the Barrier Reef - We had a wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed our day on the reef and It was made all the better by Martin Connolly’s extremely professional guidance. His patience and individual coaching made us all feel instantly relaxed and the day all the more enjoyable.
