• Batu Caves - A must-visit and photo opportunity at one of Kuala Lumpur’s most significant landmarks when visiting Malaysia. These limestone formations, over 400 million years old, naturally evolved into what is now famously known as Batu Caves. The temple, nestled within the cave, was constructed in 1920.

• Istana Negara - A photo stop at The Istana Negara (National Palace), the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Malaysia’s monarch. Located along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim (formerly Jalan Duta) near Taman Duta in northwestern Kuala Lumpur, the palace opened in 2011, replacing the old Istana Negara situated in a different part of central Kuala Lumpur.

• Merdeka Square - Visit & Photo Stop at Independence Square (Dataran Merdeka), located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. Previously known as the Selangor Club Padang or simply the Padang (meaning “field” in Malay), it served as the cricket green for the Selangor Club (now the Royal Selangor Club). It was here that the Union Flag was lowered, and the Malaysian flag was raised for the first time at midnight on 31 August 1957. • The River of Life - The River of Life is one of Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic features. Situated near Masjid Jamek Sultan Abdul Samad, the city’s oldest mosque, it is where the Klang River and the Gombak River converge. The Klang River, known locally as Sungai Klang, flows through Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, eventually reaching the Straits of Malacca. The Gombak River is another significant river in the Klang Valley.

• Menara Kuala Lumpur - Photo Stop at The Kuala Lumpur Tower (Malay: Menara Kuala Lumpur), commonly known as KL Tower, is a 6-storey, 421-metre-tall (1,381 ft) telecommunications tower in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It ranks as the world’s seventh-tallest tower. An antenna extends its height to 421 metres (1,381 feet). The pod’s roof is at 335 metres (1,100 feet). The tower features a stairwell and an elevator to access the upper area, which includes a revolving restaurant offering diners a panoramic view of the city.

• Petronas Twin Towers - The Petronas Towers (Menara Berkembar Petronas), also known as the Petronas Twin Towers and colloquially the KLCC Twin Towers, are a pair of interconnected 88-storey supertall skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, standing at 451.9 metres (1,483 feet). From 1998 to 2004, they held the title of the tallest buildings in the world until surpassed by Taipei 101. The Petronas Towers remain the world’s tallest twin skyscrapers and were the tallest buildings in Malaysia until 2019, when The Exchange 106 overtook them. The Petronas Towers are a major landmark of Kuala Lumpur, alongside the nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower and Merdeka 118, and are visible from many locations across the city.
