Before we drop you back to your accommodation, a final stop will be made at a defunct sugar factory now transformed into a museum that depicts the history sugar production in Mauritius.

Following your pick-up from your lodging, your journey takes you to Port Louis – an epicenter of tradition and culture. A myriad of street food awaits to whisk your palate on a culinary adventure. Experience a fusion of antiquity and modernity within Port Louis – have a break at traditional marketplaces or contemporary shopping centers such as the Caudan Waterfront.
Your subsequent destination is the Citadelle, a trove of military history boasting ruins and cannons that overlook the cityscape of Port Louis on one flank, and jagged mountain terrains on the opposite.
Come mid-day, take a tour of the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, an expansive park that shelters a diversity of fauna, flora and ponds, inclusive of the signature giant water lilies. Before your return to your lodging, a last halt will take place at a repurposed sugar plant, now a museum illustrating the saga of sugar manufacturing in Mauritius. Be sure not to miss the complimentary tasting of sugar and domestic rums.
