A great way to spend a morning. - The drive was beautiful with a brief tour through several towns on the way up. The first top view was breath taking. Along with for access to the available vendors. See the fisherman at work in the water below. The bake and shark, of course and finally the sun, water and the beach. It was a great way to spend a morning.

Awesome beach trip - The most memorable part of my experience is listening to our host tell us some of the history of Trinidad, taking pictures from the overlook, taking a swim in the refreshing waters, and eating the shark and bake that are sold on the beach.

excellent organized, high educated and flexible guide, enjoyable and very interesting day tour, Falk - On our request in addition to the Day Trip to Maracas Beach the Guide K. shows us in advance interesting places in Port of Spain, like Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Queen’s Park Savannah, City Centre, Ferry Terminal, National Academy for the Performing Arts, Parliament.. The guide has excellent knowledge about history of the country and knows a lot about interesting places along the tour.

A great experience! - The views were amazing! The weather was sunny, the people were friendly and the beer prices weren’t too high. And the Bake and Shark is a must have from Uncle Sam’s bar. It’s absolutely mouth watering!!

Best Trinidad Tour and Tour Guide - This was a trip of a lifetime. Spending the day at Maracas Bay Beach was a fabulous way to spend my 40th birthday. Our tour guide Khaleel was super nice, accommodating and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend Khaleel and this tour!

Best tour guide possible. - Great knowledgeale guide and safe driver. Maracas beach was sandy and tide was going out. Waves made swimming not possible.

Great beach trip - The half-day to Maracas beach with Island Experiences was a great trip, especially if you have limited time. Convenient pick-up from major hotels, smooth trip with stop-offs to eat doubles and see viewpoints on the way to the beach. Khalil was a knowledgeable and laid-back guide. The beach exceeded my expectations - when we went on a Saturday in late September it was not at all crowded. It's a beautiful setting with no ugly high-rise hotels to spoil the view. Great beach-shacks serving local food. You can easily hire sun-loungers and parasol for shade. As other reviewers have said, the only down side is that you end up wishing you had more time on the beach - but for a taster trip, this is ideal.

Nice way to lunch/spend the afternoon. - Wonderful trip. Jenelle, our tourguide, was on point and very warm/friendly. Bake and shark amazing. We opted for Richard's. Waters a bit rough and there was some rain this time of year but chairs and tables were available to rent. Nice stop at the lookout where we bought chow - local fruit delicacy. Reason for removing 1 star: Lockers at Maracas available to rent for TT$60 with 50% refund if key was returned by 5pm - the outlet was closed when we got there, well ahead of 5pm. We were advised to go to some office to get the funds but did not want to spend our vacation time doing that. If you'd like to avoid that experience, go with minimal valuables/cash or ask your tourguide to secure it in the vehicle.

Beach day vibes. - The beach was quiet when we visited which was nice, and we enjoyed our swim and the bake and shark! Nice to get out of the city. The trip over to the beach had limited commentary - felt more like a shuttle than a tour. Extra $ needed to hire lounge chairs, umbrellas and use the bathroom.

In Reverse - Actually this tour in my opinion should be done in the reverse. The beach in the morning while its nice and cool. The city in the afternoon. It’s a very informative tour. Khaleel was an excellent knowledgeable guide.
