HALF DAY OPTION typically follow our ‘Watermill Trail’ visiting three of Pelion’s most beautiful stone villages alongside local sights such as an old water mill.

FULL DAY OPTION typically follow our Waterfalls Trail. Probably the most beautiful walking route on Pelion, we will pass through virgin beech forests, waterfalls and running streams as well as through some of Pelion’s stone villages.

The Pelion Peninsula, known from the film ‘Mama Mia’, is famed for being the legendary dwelling of Centaurs and is recognized as a ‘Natura 2000’ site for its exceptional natural beauty, boasting clean mountain air, ancient woods, and unspoiled blue waters. This peninsula is dotted with old stone villages nestled in mountains, along the seaside, and within woodland areas. Before the construction of roads, these villages were linked by a series of trails. These once forgotten paths have been rediscovered with the construction of roads and have been revived by local guides. They now serve as the backbone of one of Greece’s finest hiking regions.

For tourists staying in Volos or those arriving by boat, we offer the option to begin the activity from this location if desired.
