Arcades and its hidden wonders - I was at the Reggia di Portici with some business colleagues a few days ago for a tour that we had wanted to do for some time. Title: THE PALACE OF PORTICI, WHAT AN ENCHANTING SURPRISE - I booked a tour of the Royal Palace of Portici with a group of friends from Caserta because I have often heard about it in relation to the history of the Bourbons but I had never had the chance or the opportunity to visit it. While searching online, this tour appeared to me and I can say that we were completely surprised and satisfied. Roberta was simply extraordinary. Being a local, she leads the tour not only with competence but also with great passion which she transmits in every detail she shows. The Palace is now home to the Federico II University, but the museum itinerary is very rich and also includes a visit to a large part of the botanical garden full of rare plants and particular species that Roberta was able to point out to us with great skill. Absolutely recommended, the Royal Palace is a little treasure off the beaten tourist track!
