Great for all ages! The perfect combo of comfortable ship on the sea and small boat adventure in the caves! - We had the best time on the afternoon sailing! The crew were fabulous and made the whole trip so fun! We were with my Mom and Aunt who are in their 80s with mobility issues but they were perfectly comfortable on the ship and the rest of us were able to go into the caves with the smaller boats. The caves were great and when you came out and saw the ‘Pirate Ship’ it was so cool. We just spent 3 weeks in the Algarve and this was our favorite adventure!! I would highly recommend it!

Just a great experience and a great team - 👌👌Hello dear pirate friends, my husband, a friend and I did the tour with the "Santa Bernarda" yesterday. Our friend was for the first time and she was stunned how super nice the ride was. The crew took great care of my husband , who is no longer well mobile, and we were completely happy again. Disembarkation into the small dinghy for the caves is unusually careful. Even the smallest children who travelled with us were more than well observed. The grottoes are really worth seeing and the boat driver makes every effort to go as deep as possible so that you really get a great impression. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Captain and his crew again and look forward to a repeat of this experience. It is worth mentioning, if the weather is not favorable you get a call that the tour cannot take place, This happened to us last time , such attention is not given everywhere. Our friend experienced this at another provider who drove out but the grottoes could not be visited as the water was too high. It doesn't happen at "Santa Bernarda"!!! Karin and Heinz

Love the pirate ship - Crew was friendly, informative, and attentive. Ocean was a bit rough but crew got us on the boat and out to see the caves. Great day!

Pirate ship trip to caves - Excellent sailing trip in a refinished pirate boat. Captain Bernardo and his crew were very attentive and made the trip fun and exciting. Water conditions change without notice so can be very rough waters to sail in. If too rough impossible to get to caves in smaller boat but still worthwhile trip. Have to transfer to a smaller boat in choppy waters but crew did a good job of keeping everyone safe. Would recommend

Great experience, nice crew, a nice adventure - A great way to see the coastline from the sea, while sailing on a sailing ship with the adventure of boating out in small dinghies. The team of Santa Bernarda is really very nice and helpful. The other guests on board were also very sympathetic. The caves themselves are rather unspectacular, but the trip was a great experience!

Pirate Ship tour thumbs up - This was a lot of fun. We met some very nice people, both the crew and other guests on the tour. It was nice to see the crew engage the kids on the ship by having them help raise the sails. Getting on the small boat from the ship to enter the caves seems treacherous. I would recommend this activity, it went by fast. Please arrive early as parking in the area was terrible and there are about 4 other tours leaving from the dock around the same time.

Disappointing as a visit but the boat tour and staff are great - The tour is disappointing, it is a hole in the ceiling and vault, nothing WoW and visit 5-6 other cave, the pirate ship is cool and comfortable and the crew extremely friendly.

Rude staff, rubbish and boring trip! - Worst boat trip we have ever been on! My son wanted to go on the pirate ship for his birthday and we thought that was a great idea… We weren’t welcomed well on arrival in fact all they said is that it’s busy today and you might not find a seat! We managed to find a seat big enough for 2 people (we were a group of 5) Couldn’t tell a word they were saying as it was all in different languages. Set sail and after 15 mins noticed people throwing up (it was extremely bumpy) we couldn’t believe they hadn’t cancelled as it was so windy. We didn’t go to the caves because of the weather, we basically sailed for 2.5 hours, with no commentary, everyone throwing up, no exciting pirate theme eg. Music/costumes. It was rubbish. Don’t book this trip book a smaller boat that actually goes to the caves and gives you great information. Avoid!
