Here we drop anchor for swim and you board on smaller boats to visit the caves described in Program 1 following the beaches of Carvalho, Benagil to Praia da Marinha. Then we will return to Portimão by engine power, passing close to the rocks, caves and beaches.

Embark on this excursion onboard a rigged sailboat and discover the Algarve’s stunning coastline and its caverns. The journey begins at the historic dock of Portimão, heading to the South-East Coast, crossing through the quaint fishing hamlets of Ferragudo, Benagil, and Carvoeiro; picturesque beaches like Algar Seco, Vale Centianes, Marinha, and Armação de Pêra. During the voyage, you will get to see some of the most beautiful grottos like Benagil and Alfanzina. We will be using traditional cavern boats to explore these fascinating caves.

Pirate boat - Very worth the experience, very friendly and available. We did diving in the high seas which we were not expecting anything. 5 stars. I recommend.

Comfortable family visit to Benagil caves - Best trip for a family! Our kids loved it! Safe and comfortable, with facilities on board. Highly recommended. We will return next year.

Adventure not to miss! - The views during the boat ride are amazing! Through this tour it is possible to know potential beaches and land caves (Carvoeiro) to visit personally. The ride with the caravel added a historic touch to this adventure, besides that, through this boat, it was possible to enjoy the views and the breeze of the sea, something that with the "speed boats" becomes more difficult. The "crew" was extremely friendly with all the customers, in addition to explaining the various landscapes we went through. Communication with the crew was extremely easy also because they speak many different languages (English, Portuguese, Spanish and German). I recommend this tour at the beginning of any trip to the Algarve!

Great piracy experience!! - Great experience aboard the Santa Bernada! The team was super welcoming! In addition to the tour on the caravel an experience in itself. We also board smaller boats in groups to visit different caves!
We were all amazed throughout the 3 hours of walks!
And a little more, a little stop is planned to throw yourself into the ocean if you feel like it!

Best "boat crew" site and wonderful views - Very nice atmosphere and a spectacular and friendly "crew" place that interacts very positively with the guests, the views are wonderful and during the trip we stopped for 20min to take a diving in the sea.

Excellent experience, highly recommended - The pirate ship experience was highly recommended by a lovely elderly Canadian couple we met on our first day in Ferragudo. They said kids will love it and they were right. My 11 yo son absolutely loved it. The crew was engaging and entertaining, views were stunning, transition from the big ship to small boats was exciting, guides on the small boats were knowledgeable and explained lots of things. We were lucky to experience stunning sunset on the way back. This trip was undoubtedly one of the top highlights during our trip to Portugal. Highly recommended experience!

Great ride for young and old - A great sail and motor boat (they run both at the same time)
Very comfortable for a family visit especially when there is wind and waves
We also went down on small wooden boats to make the caves
The pirates put on a show during the visits
A great afternoon

Experienceful sailing tour to the caves - Nice boat trip to see the caves off the coast of Portugal. We also had to go into some caves with smaller boats. You also get great views of the villages along the coast, better than when driving through by car.

Beautiful fair pity for swimming - Beautiful to do at least once very nice experiences we took the pirate ship and I really recommend this one because the trip is really not the same in others you have to sit as in the pirate you can circulate during the trip bar available etc. just a shame we did not stop for the moment to swim off this was well noted in the announcement and therefore included in the Award

Rude staff, rubbish and boring trip! - Worst boat trip we have ever been on!
My son wanted to go on the pirate ship for his birthday and we thought that was a great idea…
We weren’t welcomed well on arrival in fact all they said is that it’s busy today and you might not find a seat!
We managed to find a seat big enough for 2 people (we were a group of 5)
Couldn’t tell a word they were saying as it was all in different languages.
Set sail and after 15 mins noticed people throwing up (it was extremely bumpy) we couldn’t believe they hadn’t cancelled as it was so windy.
We didn’t go to the caves because of the weather, we basically sailed for 2.5 hours, with no commentary, everyone throwing up, no exciting pirate theme eg. Music/costumes.
It was rubbish.
Don’t book this trip book a smaller boat that actually goes to the caves and gives you great information.
Avoid!
