For Foodies Who Love to Get to Know their City - This was a great way to see a bit of Portland and learn a lot about the history with a local and filling your belly! Tim was a great tour guide! He clearly loves his city, its history and art, and loves to share them with his group. This tour had a good pace: some eating, some walking and touring, some more eating, rinse and repeat. Everything that we had was ample and tasty; these are full servings, not tastes. You won't leave hungry. You'll also leave with a new appreciation for Portland, its history, art, and people. If you're a "foodie" who just likes good food and wants to get to know the city that you're in, this is a great tour. Thanks, Tim!

Definitely Recommend Taking This Tour! - We thoroughly enjoyed the seafood walking/eating tour and left with happy, full bellies! This is a great tour to take to not only see where you might want to go back to eat during your visit, but to also get a good understanding of what makes Portland, Maine unique. Tim really made the tour great. We enjoyed hearing his stories about Portland and the restaurants we visited. He is very knowledgeable about Portland and Maine, and he has many amazing experiences in his life that enrich his tour talks. The food was delicious—my personal favorite was the fish taco at Andy’s. Thanks for a great tour, Tim!

Great Food with Great Information! - We spent three days in Portland and chose to do this wonderful food tour on the first day so we could get the lay of the land. It was the perfect way to learn about the food and history of the area. Our guide Timothy also gave numerous suggestions about places to eat and things to do during our visit. We had a great fish taco and a beer, then a choice of clam chowders, an entire lobster roll and chips, two pieces of custom chocolates, and a huge cookie! I highly recommend this informative and yummy tour.

Food Production, Food History, Eat the Food in a nutshell - This one was more food focused than some other food tours we did. He centered on the nature of the area and locally caught seafood and the different local businesses and restaurants involved as well as the history of the area. The tastings were good and he avoided the kickback/favoritism that sometimes can happen in these sorts of tours.
