Fun Ride - This is a great way to see the city and learn about Portland's history. The trolley is comfortable and the guide was knowledgable and kept a good pace. This trolley also went out to the light house and it was better than driving out and parking twice. I would recommend this for day trippers to the city.

Nice excursion to get the scoop on Portland. - Excellent overview of Portland. Highly recommended!! However, it would have been better if the tour guide's mic volume was louder for the people in the back.

Charlie and the City Tour Trolley - Charlie was the conductor for the trolley! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. As we went by the historic places he gave us insights and historical data. Was worth it!

Very good tour. - Tour route was exception and very interesting. But, several passengers talking loudly ruined our hearing of the informative commentary of our driver/tour guide.

# 1 & # 2 possible problems- no public restrooms. - Tour Business doesn’t provide restroom facilities ( even though they have one for employees only) . Nearest public restroom is about 3 blocks away / for a 1 hour tour plus they want you to arrive 20 minutes early/ restrooms are needed especially for children and seniors. Driver response— he should sell “Depends “. He also made several jokes about lack of restrooms plus several off color jokes during tour. He joked about Drivers having to be Drug tested- they found high dosage of Viagra in his urine..

Honest mistake unreasonable treatment - I live in Portland OR. I put things to do in Portland near me in Google search. This tour came up. I had no reason to assume it was Portland, Maine. I didn't realize til morning of tour. I phoned to mention this mistake. There was no understanding or sympathy. I said can I apply the fee to a tour here? Met with a hard no. You have to cancel no later than 24 hours before your event. With three hour time difference this would have been virtually impossible. No offer to help me whatsoever. This is company policy. No I can't do anything. No exceptions for any circumstances. I was not impressed by the inflexibility and lack of understanding. Will never use them again.
