Huge servings—Go hungry! - Fantastic food! Some interesting historical facts. The portions were amazing! Like, a WHOLE lobster roll. And it was definitely the best lobster roll EVER!

Fantastic Food Tour- worth it! - Tour was great. Typical mix of history and restaurants but also legit background on food industry in Maine and Portland. Guide AJ was great. She listened to everyone’s likes/dislikes and worked around them but also challenged people despite their food history biases.

Fabulous! - This tour would probably have been great with any of their hosts but AJ was nothing short of amazing. Her knowledge of the Portland food culture was incredible. She even shared some cooking techniques with me. I also had a great experience with their customer service prior to the event. Highly recommend!

Portland’s quaint dining experience - AJ took over the top great care of us today! Not only did she take us to great little pubs to sample chowder and haddock fish tacos, she took us to wonderful little hole in the wall with the absolutely best lobster roll I’ve ever eaten. She also included a lot of information about the history of Maine and Portland which made the trip that much more interesting. Would highly recommend this tour!

Old port Tour is Delicious! - Wow! First time to Portland, and Boy! did we enjoy the Old Port Culinary Tour. AJ was amazing as she navigated us on our foodie adventure ... oysters, lobster, fresh fish taco, ice cream, donuts, chowda, local beer, sourdough bread tasting, etc. Educational and delicious as we became familiar with the Old Port area of Portland: shucking oysters at the wharf, live lobster facts and fisherman facts, a stop at a local artist stall... Our guide was known and liked by the locals which tells me the Main Foodie Tours company does a great job of maintaining a congenial and financial supportive relationship with the Portland Mom n Pop restaurants and vendors. Easy walkable. Great ideas for dining during the rest of our Portland stay.

Great food tour even in the rain - AJ was awesome! Even on a rainy day, she ensured we stayed dry and dodged the drops. She even offered umbrellas. We never missed a beat and we ate well. We were nice and full by the end of the tour. We even visited the market. It was a lovely tour and I would definitely do it again.
