Portland’s Original Beer Tour sets off early, diving into the brewery world first thing, featuring three stops at industry darlings like Goodfire Brewing, celebrated for their flagship Citra IPA, Prime. An early start means more time to enjoy breweries’ extensive, often experimental, draft lists.

This bus tour’s final tasting will be held at Portland Beer Hub, the home of Maine Brews Cruise. Portland Beer Hub is a combo beer bar and retail space in the heart of the Old Port. The selection here includes beers from over 30 breweries across the state of Maine. As a bonus, all guests snag a 10% discount on additional draft and to-go purchases.

Meet your guide inside of the retail store, Portland Beer Hub (320 Fore Street, Portland, ME 04101) in downtown Portland's Old Port. Arrive at the meeting location 15 minutes before the start time of your tour to ensure a timely tour start.

Joe was the best thing about the beer tour. - Joe was our driver and he was incredible. I really enjoyed our experience. He served us drinks and was very knowledgeable bout the best breweries and their beers. I was very pleased I attended this tour and Joe really worked hard.

Must try in Portland - Molly and Major Tom are great. Very knowledgeable about beer and the tour went to great spots with great beer. Must try this tour to meet people who love making beer.

A wonderful tour - We enjoyed one of their tours in 2015 and since we were going to be in Portland again, we decided to try another. Our guides, Tom and Joe, were great. They were very knowledgeable about the breweries we visited and brewers at each site. Tom has clearly been doing this for a while and has built relationships with the staff at locations we visited. We were fortunate to have a small group on our morning tour which made for an even more personal experience. We started at Bissell Brothers before they opened so it was nice and quiet in there. The next two stops were at Belleflower and Goodfire. They are smaller breweries with very enjoyable beers to offer and wonderful staff.

DA BEST Beerunch Brewery Bus Tour - Super knowledgeable and fun! Joe and Spencer were fantastic hosts. Even for 10am, they had the perfect approach and tone for folks who might not identify as "morning people," or were perhaps hungover.

Great beer, great history, great company! - Tom and Chad are wonderful hosts and know a lot about the history of the area as well as the brewing process. I was unfortunately ill on the morning of my tour, but the three others in my party were able to attend and they still talk about how awesome this tour was. When I met up with my party later in the day, we caught up with Tom and Chad when they were touring an afternoon group at Shipyard Brewery. Tom is such a gentleman, he pulled me aside so I could tour with the second group because I hadn't been able to with my group. Very grateful to Tom for that, and I regret being too ill to attend during my tour. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Portland, ME.

The Maine Brew Bus - AWESOME - AmazIng tour ! Tom and Seth were the best Guides and so much fun. The tour of the brewing process was very technical, informative and on point. Being in the brewing industry myself, I 100% approve. Great time- thanks everyone! I’ll be coming back Soon for sure
