The tour proceeds to OHSU, where participants will walk to the Aerial Tram. This marvel of Swiss engineering will take everyone to the top, as the early sun illuminates the city with vibrant colors. Depending on the timing of the sunrise and the weather, guests will either witness the sun rising over the horizon or enjoy the city views in the morning light.
After descending, the guide will share the story of the bridge and its unique lights, and provide an orientation to the city, highlighting the east-west divider.
The Aerial Tram, constructed in 2006, connects the main campus of Oregon Health Sciences University with the South Waterfront neighborhood. Guests will join students and medical staff on their daily tram journey!
