Awesome guides - The guides for Around Portland are great, and really easy and fun to cycle and talk with. Kelly was my guide for Bike Around Portland. She was awesome and super knowledgable about all things Portland. A guided bike tour is definitely the way the way to do it. Angela guided the Columbia River Gorge Waterfalls tour, cool and also super knowledgeable about the Gorge, it's history, geology, everything. And of course Portland too. Cycling near the river on the scenic road, bombing through the trees and seeing the waterfalls and historic structures... go experience it!

Favorite Part of my trip to Portland! Highly recommend for people chasing waterfalls. - A Wonderful Half Day trip! Around Portland was super to get to from my hotel. Sara (our tour leader) was super nice and knowledgeable about the local geology and history of the area. I was worried about this tour being difficult due to the hiking and biking aspects but it was surprisingly easy! This tour is definitely doable for almost everyone. You do not need to be an avid cyclist or hiker. You do not need to be in amazing shape. We took many stops and weren't really hiking or biking for more than 15-20mins at a time. I went by myself and highly recommend any solo travelers to do the same. Group tours are a great recommendations on what to do in the area and to chat with other travelers.

The most unforgettable way to experience the Columbia River Highway - My last visit to Portland I took a bus tour to the Columbia River Gorge and saw a group of cyclists with a van advertising bike tours. I knew this was what I wanted to do next time, and after I mentioned it to my best friend, the plan was set! From the start, it was a great time. We got to pick bikes at the shop and ride them in the lot to adjust as needed. On the van ride our guide Sara gave us so much insightful information about Portland and the surrounding areas. Lots of local tips we made use of later, including having a corn dog at Rockaway Beach. The Columbia River Highway is historic for its scenery, and experiencing it on a bike is a whole different level of enjoying nature. In terms of difficulty, there were some gentle hills that a low-level weekend cyclist like me huffed and puffed through but did fine with. The views were always worth it. This day was the best part of our short trip and I'm so glad this tour exists!

If you only do one thing in Portland… - Sarah and Sarah were phenomenal guides. We felt so very welcomed and at home with them. They are incredibly knowledgeable in various areas (food, nature, etc). If we return to Portland we may just book all our adventures through them, it was stellar through and through!

An adventure not to be missed! - Our bike through Columbia River Gorge was the highlight of our trip to Oregon!! Angela was an amazing tour guide - so informative throughout the drive as well as the hike. She even led us to some fabulous wild blackberries along the way!! All four of us are casual bikers for the most part, and while parts are challenging, the ride was totally doable and even more so enjoyable. When my twelve year old had had enough climbs on the bike for the day, he was able to ride along in the support van and still join us for the hikes. All in all an absolutely magnificent way to explore this part of nature’s bounty!!

More Walk, Less Woke. - Clearly seeing the Falls were the highlight. Omitting walk to top of Latourell and Multnomah Falls disappointing. If too much is being crammed in, the skip the blueberry farm and Vista House and stick to just the Falls. Also, the guide should leave her "woke" commentary at home. Did not sign-up for a White Man bashing.
