History Buff - Our guide, Kaitlyn, was excellent. She was witty while also being very informative. Hearing about the history of the underground tunnels was fascinating, and seeing the places where these things happened brought everything to life. We didn’t experience any paranormal activities but it was fun to imagine what might be. The beer tasting in the underground bar was an added bonus.

Fun, informative haunted tour - The haunted tour was made so memorable by Natasha our guide. She is full of interesting history about the area plus she adds a quirky theatrical flair to the tour. We even had one person in the group that felt a ghostly presence towards the end. So fun!

Entertaining and Informative - Natasha did a great job entertaining and informing us! It was a fun and interesting tour. It was cool being in the tunnels and having the tasting in a tunnel speakeasy was great. I was hoping the tunnels still went down to the waterfront, but after taking the tour I understand why they don't.

Good Beer....and that's about it. - The pizza place is great. The beer was good and I enjoyed the interior, as you can tell they have tried to preserve or honor the history of the building. The guide and tour itself left a lot to be desired. She boasted of being a wealth of knowledge and facts but throughout the tour, whenever anyone asked any questions, she would just say “I got you….” And not answer the question. When asked when they would get the answer, she said she would give it at the tasting at the end of the tour. Why not just answer it in the moment, when it was on their minds? She seemed to be more worried about the theatrics of what she was saying, than actually saying anything at all. Her condescending attitude completely turned me off to the experience. Many of the people in the group that weren’t previously affiliated were stuck making looks at each other, confused and disappointed. The concept is great. The beer tasting in the basement bar is great. I think the execution, atleast with this tour guide, could use some work. I look forward to finding the answers to my questions online.

Meh - Felt like a waste of time walking through a bunch of unfinished basements. The beer was good at this place but otherwise not great shakes. OTOH, Portland downtown doesn’t have much going for it so this could be the best of what this city can offer.
