Highlights
  • Skualo Porto Cristo - Embark on one of the most thrilling expeditions in Mallorca by venturing into the heart of one of its most magnificent marine caverns, the renowned Cova des Coloms de Mallorca.

Within the Cova des Coloms, a plethora of expansive chambers await, adorned with a diverse array of stalactites and stalagmites that craft an ambiance of both adventure and wonder at nature’s artistic prowess.

This cave is celebrated as one of the most extraordinary stalactite caverns in Mallorca, distinguished by the sheer abundance, diversity, and magnitude of its internal formations.

Highlighted within are, as previously noted, the stalactites, stalagmites, and pillars, which emerge from the combination of the first two. These structures are the culmination of millennia of natural formation and chemical processes.

Additional Information

Mallorca, an island dotted with cavities and subterranean passages, was shaped over millennia. The island’s limestone and sea-induced erosion have resulted in the creation of multiple seacaves.

A few of these caves are named ‘sea caves’ owing to their exclusive accessibility from the sea. A prime example is the Cova des Coloms in Mallorca, among the most recognized on the island.

Exceeded my expectations - Possibly the coolest excursion I've ever done. The boat ride out was thrilling and fun and the caves were incredible to see. Keno and the rest of the crew were great at navigating the group through them and sharing all kinds of interesting facts about the caves. The tour of the caves was far more involved than I anticipated. You do have to swim into them but it is a short swim to a rope that you guide yourself in through. The team is great about making the quick underwater entrance safe and comfortable. And they provide all the photos you need for a memorable experience at a very nominal fee. Thanks for an incredible experience!

Not cheap but value for money! - Great experience, both for us as parents and for our children aged 8, 11 and 12. The boat trip to the cave was an attraction in itself. Then jump off the boat and swim to the cave (a short distance of about 30 meters). There you dive under water and when you emerge you are in a beautiful cave.

Absolutely worth it - The tour was extremely worthwhile and we would recommend it to anyone. During the speedboat tour to the cave, you could admire the island and some of the bays from the water side. Once you arrive at the cave, you swim with the guides to the cave entrance, which we could simply swim into because the water level was low and didn't have to dive. The cave is super impressive and it is a great experience to swim in the cave lake. We were the only Germans on the tour and had a guide all to ourselves, which we were very happy about. The other guide and the other guests were French. Some pictures were taken on the tour, which you could buy after the tour for €15.

Great experience! - We did 2 activities at Skualo: the visit to the sea cave which was really very beautiful and impressive, a bit sporty and educational. A must do! We also took a boat trip to see the calas south of Porto Cristo and do a snorkel in one of them. Wonderful landscapes. The whole team is very nice and special mention to Eva, our French guide who was really very nice and very professional, she gave us good explanations and animation of the activities, Thank you!

Just Book It! - We had SO MUCH FUN in the sea caves with Milan and Carlos. Well worth the money (they could definitely charge more). It was spectacularly beautiful and was so cool to be so up close and personal with the caves.
