Fun and informative electric bike tour of Porto - Igor Machiavelo was our tour guid for this electric bike tour of Porto. On arrival Igor helped us feel comfortable with the bikes and answered any questions we had on the equipment. The tour itself was interesting and fun cycling through the heart of Porto. At each stop we were given really informative talks about the history behind each location. You could see that Igor is passionate about the history of his city and having studied history he was incredibly knowledgable. I found this tour exciting and informative and would recommend it. I personally was concerned about the hills and cycling through traffic but Igor gave clear instruction on when to change gear to allow for a steep hill and the electric bike did the rest.

Great afternoon - Great way to see and learn about the city tour guide was great .. bikes get you up and down the hills.. better if you are a bike rider then not as there are uneven surfaces and train tracks and people walking to navigate

Alexandre if you read this, once again thank you very much for your stories and cheerful input on the group. We enjoyed it and I think this also applies to the rest of the group. Miguel is awesome!!! - My wife and I am visiting Porto for the first time and we only have 2 days here. We decided to take the 3 hour bike tour on our first day to see the city and it allowed us to see what we wanted to go back to the next day. Miguel was our tour guide and he was amazing. He was very knowledgeable, great sense of humor and very good with recommendations for us to see in the city. I give Miguel 5 stars and would definitely do this tour again!

Horrible - We started out ok our guide was super friendly But we didn’t really have enough time or instructions to understand the streets we would travel on are extremely steep and the cobble stones made it extremely difficult for turning sharply to get enough momentum to go up steep hills the roads were packed with people and vehicles my first sharp turn to go up a steep hill was cut short by the other bikers in my group stopping short then my bike rolled backwards It was too heavy for me to stop it so it fell to the right since I was close to a cement wall the bike jammed my head between wall and cobblestones I was dizzy and nauseous from the fall After sitting about 10 min I didn’t want to hold up the group We continued the next hill was even higher and much more dangerous Sti feeling dizzy and blurry vision I decided to walk this heave bike up a very steep hill When I reached the top I thought I would vomit the guide said if I wanted to leave the bike they’d have someone get us so my husband accompanied me to leave the bike The employee who came said he could not drive us back So I walked down this very steep hill feeling sick to get a taxi It was a horrible day Then of course my concern was if I had a head trauma we went back to the hotel to address that problem This company really needs to explain the difficulties of trying to ride an e-bike on these streets I wasn’t the only one having difficulties in fact another lady left not long after I did So a group of 7 only 4 made it back
