Begin your journey from Porto with a comfortable ride to Arouca. Embark on a walk through the ancient village paths. Prepare for an exhilarating 516 meters on the 516 Arouca Suspension Bridge, one of the world’s longest pedestrian suspension bridges. Suspended by Tibetan-style steel cables, you’ll be 175 meters above the Paiva River and Cachoeira das Aguieiras.

Continue along the Passadiços do Paiva, an 8.7 km stretch of wooden walkways that trace the cliffs of the Garganta do Rio Paiva. Marvel at the iconic zigzag staircases, riparian forests, waterfalls, and canyon cliffs. Take a break halfway at Praia Fluvial do Vau.

Finally, indulge in a Charcuterie Board and Typical Portuguese Cheeses (or just Cheeses) paired with a drink. Then, choose from an Arouquesa Steak Sandwich, Vegan or Arouquesa Beef Burger, and Tuna Sandwich, all served with fries (“With Lunch” option). For dessert, savor the conventual sweets.

• Generally, our tours are carried out in one language, an extra language can be added if there is a minimum number of users. Tours are carried out in small groups of up to 8.
• Reservation is mandatory and requires an email request/confirmation. The names of hotels or pick-up locations for pickup reservations must be informed at least 48 hours before the start date of the activity
• Pick up: The meeting point is next to the statue of Vimara Peres, close to the Porto Cathedral. (hotel if selected)
