Be collected from your hotel or accommodation in Porto for a trip to Arouca, specifically to the Passadiços do Paiva, which is approximately an hour away. The Passadiços do Paiva features a series of wooden walkways along the Paiva River in Arouca. Begin your adventure at Areinho River Beach, where you can embark on a route that includes walking across the 516Arouca Bridge, a journey that takes about 3 hours. The guide will meet you at the end of the trail at Ponte de Espiunca. Following this, the guide or driver will suggest a restaurant in the Alverenga area for a delightful lunch. (Please note that the meal is not included in the package.) Arouca is known for its rich and diverse cuisine, with meat dishes that are traditional to the region. After lunch, there will be time to explore the Monastery of Santa Maria de Arouca and the Museum of Sacred Art of Arouca. Finally, the journey back to Porto begins, with the driver or guide returning you to your hotel.
