Experience the rich culture and stunning landscapes of northern Portugal on a full-day tour of Braga and Guimarães, including lunch, departing from Porto. Join a guide to visit Braga’s magnificent medieval Sé Cathedral and take in panoramic views from the hilltops. Delight in a traditional Portuguese lunch, then wander through the enchanting town center of Guimarães and its Medieval Castle before heading back to Porto.
- Parents should bring the baby car seat ajusted to infant’s age (1 to 3 years old). We only have seats available after 4 years old.
- This tour may be done in two languages. We try to avoid it, but sometimes we have no other solution.
- Private option it’s done in a private vehicle only with your private guide. The activities may be shared with other participants.
- Reschedulings with less than 24 hours before the start of the tour will be charged a 30% fee (subject to availability).
- We do not recommend that you book or schedule different activities at the end of the tour. Although the tour may last 8 hours, the duration may vary depending on traffic conditions and other factors.
- Schedules and Itinerary may change without prior notice.
- The pick-up service is only available for the ones that choose the option “Private Tour”.
- On the private option infants or childrens must be booked as an individual adult/seat. Prices shown are per group/vehicle.

Braga and Guimarães tour with lunch - Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Pedro was a very good driver and tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly.
Places visited were very interesting and a great place for lunch. Excellent Portuguese food, although there was so much we could not eat it all. Great value tour.

Paulo was an enthusiastic... - Paulo was an enthusiastic Portugal ambassador! He loves his country, is a knowledgeable historian, and arranged for a delicious lunch!!!
He made all four of his guests on the tour feel comfortable!

Beautiful day in Braga and Guimarães ! - This was such a lovely day with our tour/host Paolo!! It was everything we expected and more ! Paolo was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about everything ! We had an excellent kick at a small local restaurant, Beal, fish, vino verde! It felt like a private tour with only one other couple, Paolo was engaging the entire time - book it now !

Best tour ever, Pedro made it a wonderful day. Every detail lunch and service delicious. This is a must tour. - On June 6 we went on this tour. Very nice sites we stopped at . It ended being just my husband and I . Felt extra special. The restaurant food was delicious great service everything was on time. Our tour guide Pedro was very knowledgeable and very friendly made our day very pleasant and memorable thank you Pedro wish you the best, was our pleasure to meet you and spend that day with you.

The trip to Guimaraes and Braga, two amazing and magnificent sites - The cities were spectacular, very beautiful and beautiful, with lots of fauna. It is advisable to visit Guimaraes and Braga, we did it with livingtours, which, we had the pleasure of doing it with Rafael, with his stories, and how friendly he is and Paulo Silva, a magnificent driver the truth, I recommend you go with them in this immersive and incredible experience. I'd do it again.

Amazing Day Trip with Pedro! - We really enjoyed our day trip thanks to Pedro. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the tour. His genuine interest and love for this area were apparent as we toured the areas. He was so personable, and we really enjoyed spending the day with him. He went out of his way to help certain members in our group. We highly recommend Pedro!
