A wonderful experience! - We can't thank our guide, Goncalo, enough for such a memorable journey through Douro. The wine was wonderful, the view was wonderful, the attention to detail from start to finish left us wanting nothing more. Thank you so much, highly recommended!

Great Tour - Highly Recommended - The wine tasting location was excellent having picturesque scenery while tasting two types of port wine. The lunch was excellent with ample food provided and the boat ride in the Douro river was exceptional and we did not want it to stop. Additionally. our guide Antonio, was excellent throughout the whole tour and also stopped at an excellent viewpoint of the Douro Valley on our way back to Porto.

An anniversary to remember! - As this was our 25th wedding anniversary trip and this tour was on our actual anniversary day, there aren't enough stars to give! We had the most amazing time! Our driver/tour guide, Miguel, was fantastic and we made great friends from Scotland and Denmark. The views are indescribable and awe-inspiring--so glad we were able to see by car, boat and train--all giving different perspectives! And lastly, the food and wine were amazing. Highly recommend this tour! And a special thanks to Miguel for being a 5-star guide!

Exploring the Douro - Antonio was great, he attended to our comfort, answered all our questions about the Douro and Portugal. We had a fantastic day; the views, the food (1/2 portions are huge!), the wine (white port cocktail worth a dabble) and the vistas

Highlight of our Porto Trip - The most amazing day! Miguel was a fantastic driver and charming guide and we made new friends from the US and Denmark. It is quite a long drive from Porto to Pinhao but so worth it for the views. The river cruise was beautiful, lunch was unbelievably good, washed down with plenty wine and port. The train journey back to Pinhao was spectacular - the scenery is breathtaking! And then we had a wine tasting which was also fantastic - tasting white, red, rosé and port and sampling their olive oil with some snacks. Weather was perfect and the whole day has been the highlight of our holiday in Porto! Highly recommend!

Wonderful day in Douro Valley with Antonio and Deltatur - We absolutely loved our guide Antonio Cardoso!! The wine tasting and lunch were top notch! The information was so educational and the food was delicious. The boat tour was a nice vantage point to see the beautiful terraced vineyards. Antonio was a great driver and a beautiful person who was always looking out for us. Highly recommend Deltatur and Antonio.

Douro Valley- Boat ride, lunch and wine tasting - Our tour guide Antonio Cardoso was incredible! He was so knowledgeable, organized and great to be with. Loved the whole experience!

Douro wine tasting - The train journey, just for scenery. Also ths lunch with wine tasting was exceptional, the food, the wine, the knowledge of the owner and lastly the surroundings. If there is a small moan, the Douro boat trip was fine but the boat was crowded with lots of individual private tours. Note, we didn't expect that we would be driven 110km up river by mini bus.

Not worth the price - Our tour guide was so sweet and amazing!! However the tour itself is nowhere worth what they’re charging…you take a train ride for 30 min that costs 3€ and an hour boat ride up and back down the river with 50+ other people. Yes, the van ride to the valley was just us, but that’s the only small group part of it. I had a total of 4 wine samples, THATS IT!!!! No wine in the car, on the train, or on the boat…just at the winery-which was lovely, but we didn’t even have any port!! Food was good and filling…but you ate in a restaurant style environment with the people from your group at a table. We learned about the winery…but didn’t learn about the valley unless we asked—Our tour guide also dropped us off everywhere and didn’t do anything with us…we saw one tour guide board the boat with his people and pour them wine the entire time :( it was a bummer! Overall this tour is extremely overpriced. Enjoyed it, but wouldn’t do it again.
