Douro Valley Small Group Tour - My husband and I had a wonderful day with Gisela and Chris and it ended up being a private tour with them the whole day!
We enjoyed a quick stop in Amarante for coffee and a light breakfast before getting back on the road to our first tour and tasting at Quinta do Seixo-Sandeman for port wines. Following our tour, we stopped in a small town for a great local lunch and wonderful conversation. After lunch, we spent an hour cruising along the Douro River viewing the beautiful landscapes from the water. Our last stop of the day before heading back to Porto was a small family run winery and olive oil producer with stunning views of the valley.
Definitely recommend this tour for those looking for an intimate group size with a variety of tastings!

Favorite Portugal Tour... Small Group makes Big Memories! - A fantastic day with an amazing guide and driver. We so much appreciated the stories, history, and food from the Douro Valley. Gisela took great pictures, told amazing stories, and played great music. Chris the driver is ready to bring his amazing experineces to future travelers too. The tours, boat trip, and great food just kept getting better. Our small group tour was top rarated.This is a lifetime memory.

A Great Day Trip from Porto - This was a wonderful day trip from our hotel in Porto to the Douro Valley. We had a chance to see how Port is produced and to sample. Included a boat ride, olive oil production, a tasting of Douro wine, and a boat ride on the Douro River. Gisela our guide and Chris, our driver were fantastic. They were friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. They really made the day for us. Would highly recommend.

11/10 amazing experience - My husband & I had a beautiful day with João & Cristovao! The wine, lunch and information given to us throughout the whole day was 11/10. We couldn’t imagine experiencing Duoro valley any other way!

Our best day of our vacation in Portugal - We were lucky to have Joao and Christovao as our driver and guides for our Duoro valley full day trip. We opted for a pickup/drop-off at our hotel for a nominal sur charge. We had only one other couple with us during the excursion. We had stops for a church visit, port winery tour and tasting, a typical Portugese lunch, including wine (pork, lamb stew, bread, sausage, a bean cassoulet, coffee and dessert), olive oil and wine tasting and of course a cruise on the river! Our guides had so much knowledge to share which we never would have known on our own. It was a perfect day, that was the highlight of our time in Portugal.

Douro Valley Port Wine & Boat Cruise - Guide Gisela was absolutely Amazing; incredible local knowledge and extremely entertaining. She is a very good driver as well. Highly recommend her for Promotion & much more varied Responsibilities. Our tour with her was one of our Best experiences of the entire trip. We will recommend her to all our traveling friends. 😎

Gisela Almeida is the Best! - Gisela was the best! We felt welcomed & comfortable with her immediately! She gave us great information & stories, drove safely, did not rush us, was very calm, took pictures/videos of us, liked & even encouraged our singing! We loved her! She is a wonderful guide and should get a raise! We even invited her to come visit us in Florida! We will request her guidance whenever we return to Portugal!! You made a very good decision hiring her & we hope she stays with the company for a long time. She is a gem!

Awesome experience! - We had a wonderful tour with Jaoa . He was very knowledgeable, considerate, and personable. The tastings were wonderful, as well as the traditional Portuguese lunch, which was served “family style”. The views were excellent, as well as the boat tour on the Douro. Great experience and worth every penny!
