You need to book this - This trip was really fun! We got to see so much of Portugal and it was great to be able to have such an easy pick up in the city center. Our experience leader Cuber was full of energy and really helpful to everyone. He brought the fun! Also really nice to have our driver Nuno, he was a great driver and took care of us safely

Boat trip on the Duoro - Overall, the boat ride up the river from Porto was fine. It was nice to have the rolls, coffee and juice on arrival and the lunch was very good - plenty of food and nicely presented. The boat itself was hot (a/c was not working properly on either deck), so the experience became very uncomfortable as this hot day progressed. There were very few seats available on deck, so I would say (regardless of weather) it was not a comfortable experience for a very long day. And, the bus ride back to Porto was also hot, as the a/c on the bus was apparently not operating properly. Sadly, we arrived back in Porto disappointed with the experience. I think the crew worked very hard and did their best to serve us efficiently. The sound quality for the recorded "tour" was not good, so we did not understand it. (Sorry this sounds so negative, but I think it's important to provide honest feedback).

All right. - The boat trip was nice, but in the afternoon we see that the landscape is most beautiful further up in the valley, so if you have time; take your way to Regua and boat further from there. The food on board was ok. The toilets on board only functioned partially, and there were not enough seats for everyone on deck. If you are going to buy yourself drinks other than that served for breakfast and lunch you have to pay cash, see do not have payment machine. The guidance on the boat was pre-recorded in three alternating languages, which you heard only on the front deck or in the lounge. Maybe the guidance was better on the bus down, we stood over. Information in advance of attendance and time was deficient and had to be consulted. A perfect trip.

Great views, not the right boat - We pre booked this two days before with a company just off the Cais da estiva in porto. The boat itself is clean and well looked after, however we were the youngest on this boat 27/32years the average age range was around 50-80 years old. This set the tone for the day, although they were nice people it just wasn’t the right vibe for us. We started off with breakfast on a tightly packed table with 3 elderly people which wasn’t too bad but was a squeeze when there were other empty tables. Breakfast was a bread roll and croissant and a cup of coffee with the option to also have some orange cordial. The views on the boat are lovely and the dams are great experience. For lunch the starter was a veg soup which was really nice, however both me and my friend were vegetarian and informed staff who didn’t really understand English and just nodded to which we were given a plate of pork that had veg and potatoes on soaking in the pork juices as well as a separate bowl of rice, this left us feeling hungry ,The dessert however was really nice sponge and ice cream. The boat also only accepts cash, which we were not informed so we weren’t able to buy any drinks or snacks between 830am-4:30pm.
