- Porto - The pickup will be made at each customer’s accommodation in the city of Porto, the journey to the Douro Valley is about 1h30 minutes.
- Quinta da Roeda - Visit to Quinta da Roêda where we will take a tour to the vineyards and a tasting of 3 Port wines.
- Douro River - One-hour trip on a typical wooden boat from Pinhão.
- Pinhao - Brief passage through the village of Pinhão in the heart of the Douro Valley.
- Pinhao Railway Station - Passing through the Pinhão train station.

Ideal for those keen to avoid large gatherings, our tours cater to modestly-sized groups, promising a more intimate and localised experience.
The journey kick-starts with a trip to a port wine producer, Quinta da Roêda. Here, you will be led on a private guided tour through the vineyards, where the creation of port wine will be detailed. A wine sampling follows this, coupled with a curated assortment of Portuguese cheeses.
Post-tasting, we move on to a traditional wooden boat (Rabelos) for an hour-long voyage. This calming excursion offers a prime opportunity to take in the gorgeous scenery of the Douro Valley.
Lunch is offered at a scenic farm facing the vineyards, offering a diverse range of meal choices, be it fish, meat, or vegetarian - all encompassed within the tour price.
The last stop is at a small table wine producer, presenting a unique chance to mingle with the local folk. The tour is crowned with an olive oil tasting session.

A day exploring the Duoro valley - A really fun and interesting trip. Great wine, port, olive oil and honey tastings. The Duoro valley was beautiful. A big thanks to Marcel for hosting- keeping the day humorous, light hearted and moving along at an even pace!

The best! - This tour was amazing! The smaller group was well worth it. Great variety of wines; honey and olive oils were a unique tasting experience; delicious food for lunch; boat ride with Douro Vintage was enjoyable and we had a very knowledgeable guide to learn all about the Douro Valley; and Marcel was an amazing tour guide!! Highly recommend :)

Amazing tour! - Absolutely phenomenal. Marcelo was our guide and he was absolutely fantastic. The Douro Valley is incredible and Marcelo made it even better. The group is the perfect size and the wineries were perfect. Zero complaints.

Excellent day tour in the Douro Valley and vineyards. - Our guide was very hospitable and he was very entertaining. The tour of the 2 wineries were wonderful, local family owned vineyards with great wine guides at both vineyards. We also had a lovely boat ride along the Douro river and again great guides on the boat. Overall we had a marvellous day !

An Amazing Day in Douro Valley - An absolutely amazing tour! We started the day by being picked up right near the place we stayed by Marcelo. He was very welcoming and shared his knowledge of the region. The day was filled with two wine tastings, a leisure cruise down the Douro River, lunch under a grove of trees and stunning view of the valley. The little details during the day was just an added bonus (snacks with the wine tasting and cruise). Marcelo was such fun a fun tour guide; great sense of humor, welcomed questions and never rushed us. Would highly recommend this tour!

Absolutely great. I learned a lot about wine and history. - Both wineries were different and great. Very knowledgable. The ride up the Douro was great. Are host on the boat ride was also informative. The lunch spot was also great.

Exceeded expectations - This tour exceeded all expectations. Great group. Sara was a warm, wonderful and knowledgeable guide. Wineries were beautiful, lunch delicious. Our guide on the boat was great as well with good drinks and snacks.

Amazing Day in Douro - Every moment felt magical. Loved learning about the port wines. The wineries and the family stories that came with them were fascinating. The scenery is beyond words. Breathtaking. Enjoyed Claudia’s stories during the river cruise part. Samuel, our tour guide was exceptional. He had so much knowledge of the region. He was also very entertaining. It was very good value for the money. The lunch took place outside next to an old historic home. All of it was incredible. And again, Samuel was fantastic.

A Memorable Day On The Douro - Wonderful trip to the Douro Vally with our guide Marcel! Two lovely wineries, guided boat ride and great wine and lunch in an outdoor venue. Marcel’s passion for his work came through with all the information he shared throughout the day. Very fun and memorable experience.
