Loved this tour! - What a wonderful day! I traveled thru Portugal with my father and this was a highlight of our trip. The Douro Valley is absolutely beautiful! The Wineries we went to, the lunch and the river cruise were all wonderful. Plus our guide was fantastic! Well worth the money, would highly recommend!

Magical and memorable - What an amazing experience! Two beautiful wineries, a boat trip and lunch in the home town of Magellan. This was a magical experience. Our tour guide, Alex was the best. He had such vibrant stories of the area that really made us appreciate the Douro Valley even more. Very memorable and special tour. Obrigado Alex! ❤️

Loved the Douro valley - We had a great experience with Jorge. He is very knowledgeable and warm and welcoming as well as funny. He has some fun jokes. He took us all around the Douro Valley. He is a great driver!!! Those roads are curvy and scary if you don’t like heights and he put me at ease. My family and I would totally request him our next trip here. This trip is a must whether you like wine or not!!

The Best Duoro Valley wine tour on offer - This tour was one of the best we have ever participated in and mostly due to the wonderful staff at all of the stops on the way. Firstly our driver and host George was an absolute champion. There was a mix up with the pick up address (our fault) but George called us and took everything in his stride and collected us within 5 mins. He was so focused on our enjoyment and his passion for the area was just wonderful. Danilo from Quinta Santa Eufêmia was so passionate about their beautiful family run vineyard and hosted a fabulous tasting of their wines and Ports. Pascal our captain for the cruise on the Douro river was the perfect host. Loved the snacks and port spritz served on board. we learned so much about the history of the area and wines. After the cruise we enjoyed a fabulous lunch served with a selection of lovely wines/port/coffee. A standout for us (apart from the excellent food and wine) was our waiter Hugo for whom nothing was too much trouble. Our final stop before returning to Porto was Quinta dos Castelares where Amilcar showed us around their winery and we tasted not only gorgeous wines but three local honey’s. All together a wonderful day and absolutely a must do. Small group tour and very comfortable transport.

An amazing day - The whole day was really wonderful, informative and fun. It was organised really well and everyone was welcoming and kind. The scenery was stunning and we enjoyed many tasty treats. Our guide, Marcelo, was truly excellent and he made us feel very comfortable. It was a privilege to share his love of Portugal.

Port and Wine Tasting - Sampling Port in the Douro Valley was amazing. Our guide George was very knowledgeable and took us to some great wineries.

Wineries! wineries! - Highly recommend this tour! It’s a must do in the Duoro Valley! We were picked up at the hotel. We went to a winery, we walked the bridge, went for a boat ride, went and had lunch with wine and went to another winery. Highly recommend this tour.

Douro valley tour - Marcelo was our tour guide for the day and he was a wonderful host. Safe driver, good conversation, helpful with lots of local Porto recommendations provided outside of the tour. We would recommend to any visitors wanting a taste of Douro valley without the hassle of driving yourself!

Douro valley with Marcelo. - What a great way to experience the Douro. Our tour guide Marcelo picked us up in a new comfortable and thankfully COOL van to take us on a wonderful day of multiple Port and wine tastings, a fun boat ride and topped off with a delicious lunch in a vineyard. Marcelo was a genuinely warm and kind local from Porto who made the day really fun, kept us informed and offered many great suggestions for the rest of our stay in Portugal. After the many generous tastings I appreciated Marcelo was at the wheel negotiating the steep and treacherous roads through the valley. So glad I didn’t rent a car!
