We will embark on a hike/walk through the vineyards in the Douro Valley, culminating at the breathtaking village of Pinhão. The Douro Valley Vineyards offer an awe-inspiring setting, recognized as the only wine region in the world to be declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
During our journey, we will stop for a picnic nestled within the vineyards. Post-picnic, we will make a stop at one of the most striking and historically significant wineries in the Douro Valley, Quinta da Roeda, for a tour and Port wine tasting session.
Following the picnic, our hike will proceed with the spectacular scenery of the Douro Valley vineyards, ending in the picturesque village of Pinhão. Here, we will have a chance to explore the age-old train station after our walk.
The hike spans 9 Km, and is deemed easy to moderate for those accustomed to walking 10 km with ease.
We will wrap up the hike in Pinhão, where participants will be given the option to partake in a 1-hour traditional boat tour (Optional, 10 euro/pax, not included).
After a day filled with remarkable experiences, we will head back to Porto.
