Great day trip from Porto - This was an amazing trip exploring the Duoro valley to learn about the wines and the ports made there. Lots of tastings! Beautiful wineries, each with their own unique vibe. Lunch was in a beautiful garden villa. Highly recommend our guide Vitor- he was so fun and informative!

Dances With Winos - Sara is an excellent tour guide! Totally professional while being personable, funny, accommodating, and knowledgeable. She maintained a fun and lighthearted sense of humor throughout the day despite the challenge of directing a large group (50 people?) who were, as she commented, “like trying to herd cats” 😂😂😂🙌🏽 Thank you for making our experience so comfortable and enjoyable🙏🏽 Pedro is equally as pleasant and engaging and the bus driver has killer skills! (I don’t think I could handle that route that well in a regular car! Great 3-point turn in Pinhão 🤘🏽😎🚍🚌👍🏽😎)

Good views, food, and wine! - We had the best time exploring the Duoro valley with Rita and Luis! The driver did an excellent job navigating the roads. The ride to the vineyards was beautiful. Each of the stops had delicious wines and excellent sommeliers that taught us a lot. We were traveling with my elderly grandmother and our tour guide, Rita, made sure we had all the accommodations we needed for her to enjoy the experience as well. The lunch was delicious. We learned a lot about wine and the history of the region. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour.

Porto wine tours - This was the best wine tour ever! You can't get any better than this....very authentic and real....I forgot our tour guides name but he was fantastic! The wineries and the wine produced was awesome....not really a port wine drinker but I learned a lot from these wine tours....3 in one day! This is a must visit....the only drawback was the lunch was not that good but the knowledge we learned about wines surpassed the not so good lunch!

…mediocre and difficult to reach - Of the many wine-growing regions in the world, this is certainly not in the top ten. But the beautiful landscape and the friendly people make up for it. And if you are a fan of port wine, this is the place for you anyway.

Good tour but not as purchased - Tour was supposed to be an 8 passenger maximum and we showed up to a 48 person tour bus. Tour driver missed a turn in this bus and we had to do a hairpin turn around with 20+ back and forths with a very steep mountain side right next to us. Driver finally was able to go forward and then we got stuck as the bus scraped the ground and was leaning toward this same mountain said as we rounded another bend closer to our winery. They ended up having us get out and walk, which was a relief to everyone on the bus. Good wine, good tour guide (wasn’t her fault) and good wineries. Just wanted a smaller group and not to be misled by either the tour owner or Viator.
