Fun in Douro Valley - Our driver was great and the day was very fun. We also learned alot about port wine! The cruise on the river was perfect.

Super day with super host and people of similar interests. - The views of the vineyards from car and boat. Boat was relaxing and both vineyards so informative and amazing produce. Lovely lunch… and a great host and driver. Well recommended for sure

A wonderful tour of the Beautiful Douro valley with great wine and port tastings - We enjoyed this tour very much. Alvaro was a wonderful driver and tour guide. We had a great group of people and had a great experience tasting wine, port, olive oil and honey. The tours of the wineries were very interesting. The Douro Valley was one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. The scenic boat ride was relaxing with breathtaking panoramic views. The lunch was good but not exactly as described. There was wine, but not “wine pairings.” The first course was just bread and unknown spread, and there was no gluten-free option. The second course offered a choice of veal stew with pasta or seafood with rice, but I did not care for the sea legs in the stew. Dessert was delicious. The gluten-free option was the seafood stew and they offered melon or chocolate mousse instead of the traditional pudding dessert which my husband said was also very good. The chocolate mousse was delicious. Alvaro told us that the tour visits different wineries each time, depending on their availability and schedules so each time people go, they could have a different experience. I would highly recommend this tour and I’m so glad that we did this as it was perhaps one of the top highlights of our trip to Portugal.

Couples Duoro Tour - What an incredible day. Worth absolutely every penny. If you have an interest in port and love sightseeing (as you will see some of the most incredible views and scenery) book this tour. It's better as a small group as you feel more involved and it feels more personalble. José was the best tour guide and had so much time for us. He really was brilliant.

Superb All Day Experience - I pity anyone who goes on this tour and doesn't get Pedro as their tour guide. Collected promptly on time, and looked after so well all day. Pedro was both informative and entertaining on the journey from Porto to the Valley. We stopped in a beautiful little village for coffee and comfort break; then to a fantastic old-fashioned winery for multiple wine tastings and multiple extra top ups of wine along the way. The river cruise was stunningly beautiful and very, very relaxing. After the provided lunch (about the only tarnish on a superb trip), off to the second winery, a port tasting and then left back to Porto. Pedro was kind enough to leave all passengers back to the most convenient place for them. A fantastic day that was excellent value for money. I do think that a good tour guide makes days like this, so I can't thank or praise Pedro enough.

Choose this tour! - As good as it gets. Not only is the landscape stunningly beautiful and the wine fantastic, the journey is fun and well organized and our guide, Miguel, was simply stellar and enjoyable. Highly recommended tour.
