Fantastic tour of Porto, highly recommended - The wonderful (and highly recommended) Ana was our guide to the delights of Porto. Ana pitched things perfectly providing a helpful overview of the history of Porto and its people, as well as explaining the key landmarks as we toured around. Porto is quite a hilly city but we went at an easy pace which worked well for the entire group. Overall a great way to kick-off your visit and familiarize yourself with Porto. Ana’s thoughtful insights on where to go and what to do in Porto were a bonus. Highly recommended.

A Great a Walking Tour of Porto!! - Informative small group tour with leader Miquel. He was happy to answer all our questions from the history of Porto to restaurant recommendations. He took us on footpath that had spectacular views of the City. He was kind to help with photo ops. I would recommend this tour!

Fabulous Tour by Fabulous Guide - This was a fabulous tour, largely because Anna was a fabulous guide. Having grown up in Porto and lived here her whole life, she knew the city like the back of her hand. With pride, joy, and an excellent sense of humor, she gave an amazing amount of information on history and city life in an easily absorbable way. She also gave many terrific recommendations on where to eat and what to do here. We're so glad we did this tour on our first day here, because that set us up for a much more enjoyable visit.

Lots of walk, not so much talk - We had two families together on this tour, with kids from 5 - 15 years old. This tour was waaaayyyyy more walking than tour, and the younger ones were done pretty early into the 3 hours. I should have considered the length before going on the tour, but there were so many 5 star reviews for this one, including many with young children, so I thought it would be okay. Our guide did nothing to engage anyone in to the information he was sharing, adults or kids, and he was often too quiet or difficult to understand. There wasn’t much leading of the group either. Several times at the end of his spiel at a spot, he’d just stop talking until one of us adults would say, “I think we’re ready to head to the next spot!” The other people in the group opted to drop out early and our large group also did not bother to walk all the way back to the starting point. A great walking tour (we’ve done many) leaves you wanting to explore even more of the city and wishing you had your guide on hand to ask questions to. This left us all happy and relieved it was over.
